Stayed there for 2 nights (30/01/15 & 31/01/15) I think this is a family business and except for the wife, people are ice cold and hospitality is not their motto I would say. What I hated the most is that there was a constant cigarette whiff in the room and this is very annoying for a non-smoking hotel. The only...

Meh. Good and bad. Room was big but nothing to write home about. Location is good, about 6 mins' walk from the train station. We were checked in by 2 delightful men - the younger spoke English, the older spoke none; both were as helpful as they could be. Later the younger one wasn't there so the older guy summoned...

I booked my stay at this hotel in Milan, due to it's good nightly rate and convenient central location. I arrived at the hotel much later than intended due to me missing my original flight from Munich. However this was not a problem for the staff at the hotel, who despite not being confident with the English language, were extremely...

Although the staff didn't have the best English they tried their hardest to communicate with us and in the end it always worked out, nothing was ever too much trouble. The quality was more like staying in a hostel. Close to the subway which gets you into the city centre of Milan within 5 minutes.

Located within 5 minutes walk from the main train station and 10 minutes from Corso Buenos Aires which is the main shopping street in Milan. Also within easy walking distance from the metro station. A couple of Indian restaurants are located across the street and a few good eating places around the corner. The rooms are on the first floor...

We've been to this hotel in July, 2012. The best thing about it is location, very close to central station. We've paid 40 euros per night for double room. Didn't expect any breakfast but everyday got coffee, croissant, biscuit, pack of juice, toast, slice of cheese on the tray right to the room. You get more, than you pay for.

We stayed one night at this hotel which is within easy walking distance of Milan's Central Railway station. it is a one star hotel so the rooms are basic with some having ensuite bathrooms while others have shared (but clean) facilities. It was clean enough and the owners were very friendly. The lack of a breakfast room resulted in the...

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
