Cutest little b&b nearby the trendy Navigli neighborhood! I've stayed here a few times for the location and home away from home feeling. Very comfortable and the rooms were decorated with such care for details. Amazing breakfast too

This lovely peaceful B&B with all its charm and tastefully decorated rooms, makes you feel welcome and "at home". Beds are good, bathrooms are spacious and modern, breakfast is super! The warmth and smile you get from the owners, the communication and whole process of reservation, bookings and checking in/out - is efficient and always in a nice informal tone....

The best way to describe Cocoon is like a tailor-made suit. Unique, high-quality (but not commercial), comfortable, and looks good. It is difficult to believe that one is almost in the centre of Milan when staying at this wonderfully restored old factory building around a small inner courtyard garden where the original features of the building blend effortlessly with high-quality...

We had stayed in another b&b previously but it wasn't available this time. I am pleased it wasn't or we would not have experienced 'Cocoon'. From our arrival to our departure everything was perfect. Great breakfast, the red room was heaven after a long flight from Australia and we were recommended such a good restaurant we went there twice. It...

I have visited Milan before but always the centre, so it was great to stay in this bustling vibrant area, 30minutes walk from the duomo. This place was recomended in the Luxe guide, which has never failed me and this place was divine. I loved the way it was set up. We only met the owner on the morning we...

We stayed at this B & B for three nights in mid-September, 2013. We stayed in The Red Room, a large room looking out onto the courtyard. The room has a well appointed bathroom, including a bidet. The room is very nicely decorated, special attention is given to details. The breakfast room also looks out onto the courtyard and offers...

My husband and I stayed at Cocoon for one night, before flying home the next day. It is very close to Porta Genova subway station, in what seemed like a fun neighborhood. Mia e-mailed the code to get into the building when I confirmed the reservation, and we were able to check in early, which was great, as we only...

This B&B, owned by an architect, is located in a nice quiet street. Some nice restaurants are at walking distance as well as the underground. Milan city centre is reachable by foot, but prepare for a 20 minute walk. Rooms are clean and the interior is great. You can see someone wanted to make something nice of it. The owner...

We had 3 nights in Cocoon in June. The room is very spacious with a great bathroom. The area is quiet but is some distance from central Milan but is very close to an underground station which is easy to use. To get to the station though you have to go over a rail bridge with a lot of stairs...

This B&B is very well located, at short distance (5' on foot) from metro station "Porta Genova" in a street without traffic, and offers only three very lovely rooms. It is a superb restauration work made by the owner - an architect, who lives and work in this building. Small central green, incredibly silent. The common kitchen for the breakfast...

Staying in Navigli

Neighbourhood Profile
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
