I stayed with my wife and my children during our four day city visit to Milan. It was my third visit to Milan and the first to this hotel.
It is by far the best hotel in stayed in Milan. Lactation is great (close to the domo and shopping area)
Food the great specially breakfast and the service the best thing.
Also very nice swimming pool.
The only thing is the pricy car parking.

Boscolo Exedra Milano is one of the newest and most modern hotels in Milan. The design of the hotel reminds of the Austin Powers movies – COOL!

The location cannot get better than this if you want to scroll around the Milan shops. The hotel is located in Corso Matteotti near Piazza Meda. In Piazza Meda just finish maybe a month or two ago a huge construction of underground parking. This construction took about 4-5 years and now as it is finished the area looks really nice.

We stayed at the Deluxe room in September 2010. The room was huge especially for Milan standards. Everything is new, the bed and lining top quality. The last time we stayed in The Gray (via San Rafaelle) which was at the same price level as Boscolo Milano, but that hotel is absolutely older and lower level than Boscolo. I stayed many times in Straff hotel, but STraf is alo much lower level.

The bathroom is also very, very big and comfortable with a huge separate wet-room-style shower and a separate toilet. There were numerous toiletries like a menu- 16 different varieties of shampoo, shower gel sand body lotions.

The hotel is walking distance within via Montenapoleone, Via Della Spiga, just in front of Frankie Morello stere and next to the huge A&F store.

What I really like about the hotel was the Spa area, which is very nice with really fantastic steam room and sauna, and cool pool. The other similar spas are available in Milan in the other top hotels like Park Hyatt but Park Hyatt Milan was at least twice more expensive, the same as with Four Seasons Milan.

The staff were really friendly and accommodating, many personnel is from former Soviet republics, like Latvia and Ukraine, that is perfectly understandable especially of the new invasion of the Russians - one week before the Milan Fashion week show you feel like in Moscow (every second tourist was Russian, really!)

The only negative item about the hotel I see was the price for Internet (€10 for 30 minutes, €20 for 2 hours and really 35 Euro for 24 hours – just to confirm this topic which was discussed in tripadvisor. I would really recommend of the management to review that policy !

Overall highly recommended, especially if you find a good deal of about 300-350 Euro a night JUST GO.

Valet parking and check in counter decent service.

The cost totally unjustified for the quality of the room. I got a king size sort of which were 2 beds together, with different mattresses. I could even fit in between. Like a poor 2 stars hotels. The pictures talk by themselves. We paid around 1,200 euros for one night, 2 rooms.

Gym closed. I thought the hotel was new.
The rooftop, with beautiful pictures and widely published, open only for private events, maybe I overlooked this point when I made the reservations.

To be fair, the location is good and the staff at the counter and valet parking was superb. I am still waiting for the points on my account by the way. I sent several emails to the property, still waiting

Good luck

Though the hotel is in a great location (sandwiched between the Duomo and Quadrilatero della Moda), a few words of caution.

As a platinum elite MR member, I have stayed at numerous Marriott & SPG properties worldwide. Though the people were generally lovely and service was friendly, I find this property overpriced and trying to be more than what they are. The breakfast was nothing special and without unique local choices. The roof restaurant had a great view of the Duomo but again, was NY pricey and except for the view of the Duomo - nothing special. On check-in, I was given the "customary" room upgrade per my membership status. The exec suite was a glorified college apartment with bizarre decor and velvet curtain partitions to create an AV entertainment space that was reminiscent of a teenagers gaming center. When I returned home, I discovered that not only did the Boscolo consume the 80k points that I used to book a standard king room, but also charged my VISA card for an exec suite (which was supposed to be a comp upgrade). To date, Marriott has yet to credit my VISA for the exec suite room charge and I doubt I will ever see my $3k VISA credit after a week haggling with Marriott Customer Care. TRAVEL TIP: Don't ever agree to the comp room upgrade - Europeans in the hospitality business generally understand the concept of complimentary upgrades for reward members.

We had very unpleasant incident in Hotel Boscolo Milano. After opening the safe in our room we found that there is a lack of 1000 euros. The amount standing there (in a purse) and never touched the whole time was 6,000 euro, in case of any unexpected expenses and of course because we're travelling by car across Europe. Previously we were in Monte Carlo Bay Hotel, Excelsior Palace Hotel..
........before dinner we found out what amount is missing, so immediately informed the General Manager of the hotel. After our explanation that we're sure about our lack, he assure us that it's impossible our password to work if someone else opens the safe with a master key or block it with three wrong passwords. Yes, that really sounded correctly and logically but to be both sides sure we asked him to demonstrate this in front of us. Unfortunately his version dropped because as once they unlocked and locked the safe, our password still worked! This further proved that our money is stolen. We want to assure you that we are not so disappointed by the lack, as by the manager's attitude. He causes us the inconvenience to go to the police and even after this we've never asked for some kind of compensation. It's really strange how is possible such things to happen in 5 stars european hotels, we're really shocked. Who is going to take the blame?
My advice is never going in luxury hotel, where is no security for your money!!!

We were there Jan 7 for 3 nights. When we arrived they told us that connecting rooms do not exist so I slept in 1 room with my daughter and my husband slept with my son.We understood that no hotel can confirm joining but when they they the hotel has never had any I believed it.So upstairs I go and unpack my things meanwhile my sisters family checks in and no problem joining rooms.I had already unpacked so we left it as that. The 3 night we were there we could not sleep THERE IS NO CARPET so whenever someone walked up the hall or above in their room it would wake us up.Also the kids were not allowed to laugh or raise their voice at all in indoor pool it was shhhh zone.My son had the fish treatment on his feet first she said no you need to be 14 then when my 12 year old said he has had it done 20 times around the world she then agreed. The staff are rude and they lie. Will not go back.

If ever there was a hotel that was based on form instead of function, this is it. The staff act like they're doing you a favor by letting you stay there. Countless interruptions in the room throughout the day and night. Dont stay here if you value a good nights sleep or your own privacy as this hotel offers neither. The only thing it does offer is locatoin.

Stayed here for business and got a great rate of 265 euros per night. Hotel is very sleek and modern, which I usually like, but this was over the top and did not feel "cozy" at all. Had problems connecting to the free internet in the lobby and had to connect through my room at the ridiculous rate of 30 euro per hour. Hotel staff was inexperienced in helping to resolve the issue. Door men do not speak English at all. I was given a room near the elevator and it was horrendously loud until about 1AM. Music from the lobby was blaring. I asked to be moved and was refused at night, and had to ask 2 more times the next day. Continental breakfast for 2 was only average quality and priced at 35 euro each. All in all, it was 5 star pricing without 5 star amenities or service. Do not recommend.

NOTHING about this hotel is a five star hotel- absolutely nothing! In fact, its quite misleading to people to call itself a five star hotel because it truly has none of the luxuries. To start, it is FILTHY. When my husband and I first arrived, we went to our standard room and saw black marks and hand prints all over the white walls, dust covering everything like it had never been used, mold covering the floors and bathroom tiles and clumps of hair all over the bathroom and in the bathtub. The front desk staff changed our room immediately to a "deluxe" room which was equally as dirty (minus the hair) and a view of the dumpster which woke us up at 6am because the window was broken and you could hear the sanitation workers working for an hour in the morning moving the dumpsters around. Because of this the front desk manager moved our room again. She showed us FOUR different rooms all which were dirty. We chose a "suite" she offered us with a balcony on the 6th floor which was DECENT and small. Nothing special. Prior to arriving to the hotel, we called to confirm that we did not need to bring our converters to use for our devices. They promised us a converter upon arrival which turned out they didn't have. It took FOUR days into our 5 night stay to get one and be able to charge our phones etc. They were rude and dismissive and extremely unhelpful in getting us what we were promised. Our actual room was uncomfortable. The pillows are nothing to brag about. Regular pillows with no added comfort regardless of what your request is. The sheets on the bed felt like sleeping on sand paper. The pool is covered in black mold and unmaintained. Towels on chairs for hours without anyone using them and the free snack and drink table never replenished. The concierge service was HORRIFIC. We asked for LOCAL, traditional restaurants to eat at and they gave us places to go that are next to the Duomo. We are well-traveled people who jet-set all over the world and this was the most unhelpful staff and concierge I have ever met. Because of all of our troubles we were given free breakfast. Nothing to talk about. It is a regular breakfast that has nothing Italian about it. Again nothing special. In fact, the wait staff had attitudes and when we asked for certain things we were actually mocked. Once of the worst experiences I have had in a LONG time at a hotel. If this was a 3 star hotel, I may have felt different, but nothing about his was good except for the location to the center of town. Spare yourself and your wallet- dont go!!!!!!!

I believe there were complimentary bottles of water... Rooftop was open when we were there. Didn’t appear to be much of a chance for upgrades unless booked in advance. We were able to check in reasonably earlier than normal check in so that was a huge plus.
