Modern and interesting design, very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean. Good free wi fi speed everywhere, 24/7 reception and bar service. Very friendly for families. The location is not central, but is easily accessible from the city center via metro (green line). The area has some local trattorias with very good quality and far better prices than the duomo district. The neighborhood is safe and the nearby railway station (Lambrate) is never empty, though it might look a little "dark" as first impression
Very nice and cosy hotel. Located near from everything and just a few minutes from the city center. His design is super fresh and modern. The vibe is just amazing. I was there with some friends on a city break and they were very cool giving us a room only to the specific number of people we were. Also, the idea was to visit the city, and we did, but my biggest wishes were to stay there, chilling in peace. Definitely to come back!
Went to Milan for two nights and had the best surprise with Meininger - didn't know the concept but we loved it - the design, the comfort, the location were perfect for us (very close to Metro/train station). Besides the available breakfast, they have a fully equiped kitchen for the guests' use (we didn't need it but it's an excellent option).
I do not recommend this hotel. They charged twice for the accommodation and even after seeing that it was a mistake they did not refund the money. And we asked at the hotel that maybe was a misunderstanding and they always said that everything was ok!
I booked into Meinenger last minute as I decided I wanted to see Milan for 48 hours on my days off. I saw the pictures, and thought for the price it looked great. It was easy to get to from the Metro station and all the staff were friendly, and it couldn’t have been easier to check in and get sorted. The room was comfy, with a great bathroom and with breakfast in the morning I couldn’t have asked for more. Thanks!
Spent one night here while traveling with a large group and it was very clean and the lobby had a nice place to sit and have a drink. The room was very clean. Only real complaints was that the single towel I was provided was tiny and extremely low quality. Also the neighborhood looks a little sketchy, wouldn't want to return to the facility late at night.
This hotel was cheap and fantastic for our 2 night visit. It was close to the metro station (you can see the station from the hotel entrance) where for just €2 you can get to the central main attractions. I also recommend getting the €7 day travel pass to hop on as many trams or metros as you want. The room was good. It was clean, the bed was comfy, you got two towels and toiletries and a hair dryer were provided - perfect for those travelling light. The flat screen TV was good and as per most hotels abroad, you could pick up BBC News. The hotel as a whole was clean, the bar and reception are were nice and the drinks were much cheaper than bars. We didn't have breakfast due to COVID. There also didn't seem to be much open in Lambrate due to covid but a 10 min metro ride away and everything is open and normal, the only difference is wearing masks. Overall, I would definitely recommend for price and location.…
There's not many places near by to eat, from what we gathered but it was still central to get around! The staff at Reception were fantastic, beverages were available at reception, including snacks and other bits. This was suitable for friends travelling or solo travellers. Rooms were a decent size, amenities available but no safe, sadly! Not such a great view form our window but just needed a place to sleep, really! Not bad all, overall!
It’s not physically possible to get to the hotel, nor safe, yet my refund or credit request was rejected. This is not good policy and shows a lack of leadership. I would never book a stay at this international hotel chain again and will recommend the same to everyone I care about.
We stayed with Meininger Lambrate for a week. Our group of 9 really enjoyed the stay. Rooms were modern and clean, breakfast was yum and the staff is truly helpful. They even allowed to order pizza to eat on their premises. So cool. There is a bar where sandwiches and drinks can be purchased. Lambrate railway station and Metro station (underground/subway) is a 5min walk away. There are some supermarkets and restaurants nearby. But as the underground station is ver close to the hotel you can take the underground to central or the city centre (approx. 10min depending on the destination). Tram 19 to near the cathedral also starts next to the railway station. It takes longer to the centre but it is a fun ride.
