Love this hotel, I have been coming here for 4 years when work calls. You are central from shopping duomo and the best restaurants in Milan. Place super clean and comfortable and the staff great. Not to be missed!

We spent two nights in Hotel Milano Scala. It is ideally situated. Small boutiques as well as the international stores are within 10 Min walking distance. (the big compartment store La Rinascente is open on Sundays!!!) We did a lot of walking and in the evenings we took a cab. Around 15 Euro for a 15 min ride. The hotel...

We booked this hotel with no prior knowledge based on location, price and what appeared to be a nice hotel. It far exceeded our exceptions and made our short stay in Milan extremely pleasant. In fact we have decided to return next year. The hotel is indeed perfectly located. Our room (a junior suite) was wonderfully comfortable, the breakfast buffet was...

This hotel is very central and has well-equipped rooms and a decent breakfast on offer. The staff are helpful and it seems that the hotel descends into the bowels of the earth with various facilities one would not expect it to have. I'll use it in future for business trips.

The room we had was lovely but the air con was not great and the jacuzzi bath not working. Hard pillows and bed. Otherwise great. Breakfast a bit disappointing as we've had much better elsewhere. Also disappointing is that the roof terrace opens at 4.30. Location is great though.

I was worried about calling the united states from italy. I have 3 boys and staying in touch is important to me. When I got to the hotel, i was told by the front desk that we would have a phone in our room to make FREE international calls. We were able to take the phone around with us to...

The location is superb, close to the shoppingarea, great restaurants and many of the great sights in Milan. All in a really short walking distance. The superior room with a private balcony was exactly what we needed after a hardcore shopping and eat-all-you-can buffet at Wasabi down the street. The staff are really accommodating, service-minded and nice. The breakfast is...

Staying in Brera

Neighbourhood Profile
Brera
Brera captures the real essence of the city. It is an excellent mix between history and modernity, where tradition meets innovation. Here design and beauty reign. On Via Brera there are the famous Pinacoteca (galleries), the National Gallery of Modern and Antique Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts. Interior design boutiques and intellectual cafes are typical of the district. Walking along Via Madonnina is a must to admire the architecture of buildings and the design stores. On Sundays, going to the local market is an unmissable opportunity for fashion, style and art. Tucked away, there is the Orto Botanico di Brera botanical garden that seems like a painting framed in an ancient fairy structure. Last but not least, it’s worth a visit to Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli with its Planetarium, the Civico Museo di Storia Naturale (Natural History Museum).
