Very friendly proprietor, amazing restaurant downstairs in the hotel. Rooms are spacious as is the bathroom. The location is about a 10 min ride on the metro to Duomo, and metro station is about a 5-7 min walk. Lots of very nice bars and restaurants in the neighbourhood, walking distance around Via Moscova.

Once inside (we had a little trouble finding it and getting in when the taxi dropped us off) we were warmly welcomed and shown our room (up a flight of quite tricky stairs). Cases though are taken up by the staff in a lift hidden away somewhere. This is a little hotel with a difference, not for everybody, but we...

All good. Stayed there for 4 nights. We arrived at 1 o'clock and had to pay 20€ for late check in- it was weird. The room was nice, but the view was to garden -it ment the wall of another house. The bed head was separate from bed. So it was very noisy. Very difficult to have fun in bed...

Fabulous Old World style small hotel, with great service and beautiful breakfast brought to the room. Loved our stay, which was only a 15 minute walk to Duomo. Milan worth a visit, for sure Douglas and other staff made our stay very pleasurable indeed. Steps to climb, but they insist on taking your bags, which was most welcomed.

This is a charming but small and unusual hotel in a great neighborhood in Milan. It's on the first floor (2nd floor for Americans) of an old building in Brera, which is known for upscale/artsy boutiques and restaurants. The rooms are quirky and full of antiques, with bathrooms that are pretty good considering the age of the place. It's not...

Superb location in central Milan, walkable to most places and in a relatively quiet street off the main drag. Delightfully unpretentious hotel with real character and charm. Douglas was a star as the all-encompassing frontman of the hotel - wonderfully cheerful and helpful, great English. Don't stay here if you want the glitz and glamour of a 5* hotel -...

Great place, fantastic service and we were made to feel totally at home. Lovely room with balcony, extremely comfortable bed and all very clean. Hi-tech shower with radio piped into it. Amazing fresh breakfast at whatever time we chose. Extra bottled water brought to us when we wanted it and all staff did everything with a smile and were eager...

Last summer, we stayed at this hotel for three nights. When we came in, the super gentil guy, named Douglas (my compliments to him), took us to our rooms. The rooms were lovely and they had all the facilities you need to have in a room: a shower, nice bed, mini bar, airco, tv, fast wifi etc. It was also...

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
