The hotel location is great. Very close to many places in Milan and it is quiet at night. The breakfast is basic but its fine for the type of hotel and price you pay.

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel as it was so cheap, but it was great. Helpful and friendly staff, great location, comfortable beds, aircon, clean and spacious room and a nice breakfast. It has everything you need.
I recently stayed at Hotel Ritter and found it to be quite pleasant. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the room is nice and cool, and there are many stores and restaurants within walking distance. There was a bit of noise on our floor,...More
The hotel is in an excellent location a short walk from the metro and surrounded by a number of eateries. It was clean and well air conditioned with helpful staff. The breakfast was acceptable with a little overcrowding at times. Excellent value.

Brera captures the real essence of the city. It is an excellent mix between history and modernity, where tradition meets innovation. Here design and beauty reign. On Via Brera there are the famous Pinacoteca (galleries), the National Gallery of Modern and Antique Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts. Interior design boutiques and intellectual cafes are typical of the district. Walking along Via Madonnina is a must to
admire the architecture of buildings and the design stores. On Sundays, going to the local market is an unmissable opportunity for fashion, style and art. Tucked away, there is the Orto Botanico di Brera botanical garden that seems like a painting framed in an ancient fairy structure. Last but not least, it’s worth a visit to Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli with its Planetarium, the Civico Museo di Storia Naturale (Natural History Museum).

It's very easy to just get a taxi from the dedicated taxi area outside the arrivals exit. Rate is set and you'll have no issues with getting ripped off or finding whoever is supposed to meet you if you hassle with pre-arranging a collection... I'd say, just keep it simple. Enjoy Milan, it's fabulous!!!
