Hotel is in central location. Rooms are not big, clean, classic. Bad soundproof. Internet is free, parking is available for fee. Staff is nice. Breakfast quite good. Generally enjoyed hotel if not to count voices in the room next to us that were waking me up all the time.

We were in Marconi Hotel on the eve of christmas after a long flight from India. It was only for an overnight stay so we did not use much of the hotel facilities. We found the hotel staff friendly and helpful, the room was small but very clean and tidy. The breakfast options were good though would have preferred a...

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and was really surprised how lovely it was after reading negative reviews. It is grand, excellent sized rooms - beautiful bathrooms. Spotless and cleaned daily. Really close to the train station so easily accessible to get to airport and also has the metro lines to connect you to all tourist attractions. It has...

Me and my boyfriend stayed there for two nights in the beginning of December. We experienced a very good stay in a nice and extremely clean room. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Would like to give credit to them for taking us before 11 am (official check-in time). Breakfast was more than satisfying, but you may have to...

An average hotel that I would only rated 3 stars. An old hotel which was renovated in past years. Walking to Central Station is a bit far away and if you have luggage, you'd better take taxi. My room is facing the tramway and so a bit noisy. Toilet seat is extremely high, even for an average height person. Bedroom...

Friendly staff, simple checkin with no hassles. Room clean but smelled poorly (this didnt improve with time). Uncomfortable linen with only a very itchy wool blanket. Clean bathroom, however shower water only lukewarm - probably the biggest disappointment of the hotel. We found the location walkable to attractions, but certainly not close (quite convenient for Milano Centrale station though).

Positives are that hotel is clean and room sizes are good. It is not as central as i hoped and needed subways to get to attractions. It is quite grand and they work to maintain this grandure. Negatives, arrived in dark and given room. Next morning after sleeping with curtains open, builders 20 feet away working in hotel were looking...

My room was clean and tidy, quiet , staff polite, reception very helpful bearing in mind that i can't speak Italian . The breakfast was an enjoyable buffet The hotel is well placed walking distance to the railway station and the old town is just 25 mins if you walk or 5 mins on metro

Visited Milan with my mother and we both really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Everything was just great, the room was nice and comfortable, good breakfast (with great staff!), fantastic location near the train station on a side street within an easy walking distance to all the sights and shopping. Checking in and out was quick and easy. Also,...

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.

“It took us some time to discover the internal card slot to switch lights etc on. No kettle. Automated air conditioning only controllable from lobby computer, did not seem to work. Room safe was broken, staff helpful but unable to repair, battery operated so problems when battery goes flat. But very clean. Big, nice ensuite.”
