This is crazy. First day in Milan only to find out they don't offer air conditioning now, only in summer. This is not clearly stated anywhere on their website. Even if it's a three star HOTEL, I would be expecting this to be a standard if you advertise yourself as a luxury hotel. I didn't pay a mid tier hotel...

The hotel is located roughly 20 minutes walk from Corso Como Milan and 10 minutes from the new skyscraper city center of Milan. The Hotel offers spacious rooms and spacious bathrooms, it is an old 1990's classic Italian hotel with marble bathrooms and wooden floored rooms. Although it is a great building it lacks the modern amenities and the detailing...

I've spent a very quiet night at Hotel Marconi in Milano. It is located nearby the central railway station, but a bit far from the city center - it is better to take the subway to reach the Duomo. Even the furniture was a bit old and used, the room was clean and quiet. Big bathroom with red marble floor!...

We booked this hotel through EasyJet Holidays (£220 for flights and 3 nights here). Some of the reviews said that the Duomo (Milan Cathedral) was 20 mins away from here on foot - that isn't true, it's 30-35 mins....if you're walking quickly! The area where the hotel is itself is nice - clean, some nice restaurants nearby. Limone was 20metres...

Despite the efforts to make Marconi Hotel a more up to date one, it looks pretty dated, starting with the lobby. The room was average, but sparkling clean. Regarding the breakfast, you could expect a little more from a 4* hotel. However, all staff is very friendly and ready to help you if you need. it is located very near...

This hotel has excellent location. It is very close to Milano Centrale. There is a supermarket across the street which is very handy. The metro is 2 blocks away. The room itself was clean but I think it need refurbishment. I would not given it 4 stars. NIce breakfast included in price . Hotel staff was very helpful. We arrived...

This hotel is situated in a great location, very centrally located and a few steps away from the subway and the train station. Unfortunately our flight changed last minute and we had arrived from Milan Malpensa airport which is about 55 kms and $110 in taxi fare, my original plan of arriving from Linate would've been amazing as taxi would've...

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
