We arrived at the B&B/hostel after a long and hot day in Milano. We we're exhausted, hot and we we're desperate for a shower. The airconditioning didn't work and the receptionist (odd, bad English), charged us 5€ for the use of it. The bathroom however was absolutely disgusting. They put bubblewrap against the walls, because of the fungus that was...

This place is located about 150 meters from the nearest underground station. Staff was friendly and helpfull, despite having problems with communicating in english. There are couple of grocery stores and restaurants nearby. There is also a tram line just next to the hostel so it gets slightly too loud if you want to go to bed early or wake...

I had 1 night stay at Milano. I decided to stay here as it close to train station. This B&B was not hard to find. I had to admit that I had concern about some negative feedback on the budget place review. But my concern had gone after I arrived the BnB, Staff was friendly and provided lots of good...

This place would have been a 2/5 star if it weren't for the bathroom in our room... We paid extra for an ensuite bathroom that constantly smelled like a mix of mould and sewage. The smell got rapidly worse and worse until it got so bad that we began exclusively using the shared bathroom facilities, keeping our bathroom door shut...

Smelly rooms, poor service, not clean, expensive, there is no breakfast you can buy coffee at a machine for 1 eur. Possibility to buy soft drinks too - poor choice. We rang the bell for half an hour before they opened on the night we arrived. Hot water in toilete comes after tap is opened for 5 minutes. Too many...

Location is a double edged sword; close proximity to the Central station but on a very noisy street. The shared deck offers zero privacy but at least there is one. When doors to deck were locked up at night there was no air, in the morning I noticed some medieval metal storm shutter I guess could've been drawn down. Luckily...

Hotel is small but clean and cute. We stayed on the top floor which had a really nice Bathroom. The Hotel is run by very nice people. I forgot my Jacket in the Hotel and they send it very quickly to my address in Switzerland without any Problems. It is very close to the main station and the price is...

20min walk from Milano centrale train station. In overall it is okey for a short stay. You get only bed no breakfast (if you pay extra 2€ you do, but I contemplate you are better of having breakfast at cafe). And that bed is foldable and transferable, meaning not comfortable and quite small. You have to ask for a room...

Staying in Bicocca

Neighbourhood Profile
Bicocca
Although Bicocca is a peripheral district, many visitors will find it appealing. The district is enveloped by the immense Parco Nord (North Park), one of the largest parks in Europe. Inside is the theater Arcimboldi, one of the most important contemporary theaters where concerts and shows are organized. In the same area, there is the University of Milan Bicocca, whose distinct architecture rivals a movie set. Coffee shops, a multiplex and a shopping center are in the campus, along with the Fondazione Hangar Bicocca, one of the most famous museums of Contemporary Art.
