Stayed here one night before a train journey the next morning, and after a trans-Atlantic flight. Located close to the station Centrale with a handful of restaurants in direct proximity. Staff is very professional and kind. The "confort" rooms are well-appointed, the gratuit beverages in the mini-fridge are a nice touch. There is a bit of noise that can filter...

This hotel is a short 5 minute walk from the train station, Milan Centrale, and equally close to the subway station so it is very convenient. More important perhaps, the hotel is lovely: very clean and clearly well-managed. The staff was, if not delightful, very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast bar is extraordinary, perhaps the best we've ever seen. All...

Stayed at the Hotel Berna in April 2017. The staff couldn't be more accommodating or helpful to me and my family during our stay. The amazing breakfast was fantastic every day ....freshly baked croissants and other assorted pastries, eggs, cheeses and meats and loads of fruits! Everyone you could possibly want and need was covered..... and the staff would make...

We would recommend Hotel Berna to anyone wanting to stay close to Central Milan, only a short walk to Central Station, fantastic staff, beautiful breakfast and amazingly modern room, we throughly enjoyed our stay and will stay here again the next time we are in Milano visiting family, thanks to all the staff.

Close to Milano Centrale station- efficient and welcoming staff- clean comfortable rooms - excellent wi-fi - Outstanding breakfast. Stayed in the annexe building for the first time - reassuringly secure for a female solo traveller with no drop in standards from main hotel. The "Welcome Duck" always makes me smile.

After having a poor experience at a nearby hotel, we went here instead. Even though we booked a late reservation, they were extremely friendly and accommodating. They room was clean and the location was extremely central. Would stay again.

A clean, smartly decorated, convenient to trains and metro system, great value and a delightfully accommodating staff eager to please and serve. We were thrilled with the stay at this gem of a hotel and look forward to recommending the hotel to friends and we will definitely return to this fine establishment on our next visit. The breakfast was beautifully...

I have chosen this hotel as I believed in TripAdvisor recommendations. Well... It was a pretty disappointing experience. There is nothing exquisite with this hotel. 1. Room which was recommended to me by hotel as a "superior room" did not have a closet but wardrobe hanger and curtain?!? 2. I did not get double bed - as requested (and hotel...

We stopped here over the Easter weekend. The hotel is a very short walk from the central station (we used the shuttle bus to get there from the airport). The hotel itself is very traditional well furnished with very friendly and professional staff. It was handy having free soft drinks from the mini-bar to take out each morning. If I...

Extremely friendly staff. Great hotel and nothing too much trouble for the staff. Small things like soft drinks from the free mini bar was very welcome. Bar man was knowledgeable about Milan and offered suggestions about where to visit

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
