Hotel Berna provides excellent service and complete amenities. The buffet breakfast has a great variety of food to choose. My only adverse comment is that the 3-person room that we stayed is too small for us to move around.

Just back from a concert break in Milan at Hotel Berna, we cannot speak too highly of the customer service, nothing was too much trouble and they have the best approach to customer care that I have ever seen in a hotel. They obviously take great pride in their hotel and it shows, the assistant manager even volunteered to take...

We stayed here 4 nights as it was our first trip to Milan and were recommended this hotel from a friend. The hotel was spotlessly clean, spacious room and the breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. Max at the bar was very kind and always remembered what we liked to drink which was nice. We visited all of the...

From the time of our booking we were more than impressed with the Management of this hotel. They kept in contact and I received an email wishing me Happy Birthday 2 weeks before we were due to stay. We arrived from the airport by bus at the train station and it was an easy walk from there. Great room, clean and...

As older travellers we choose our hotels very carefully. We look for good value, location and well managed accommodation. Hotel Berna is one of those rare hotels where one wants to stay in and skip the tourist sights! We didn't of course but Berna is truely exceptional! It is attractive, welcoming, helpful, gracious, responsive, comfortable, clean and excellent value. The...

We are very pleased to say that staying in your hotel proved a truly inimitable pleasure for all four of us who came to Milan to attend a medical congress. The hotel staff was extremely helpful throughout, their English was simply impeccable and we particularly appreciated their help in directing us about the city and to all its attractions, even...

This hotel is perfect for a break in Milan, we stayed there for 4 nights in June 2012 and could not find one bad thing to say about the hotel. The staff are friendly and efficient, the hotel rooms are clean & well equipped. Despite being a busy hotel the rooms seem well soundproofed as we slept soundly every night...

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
