Stayed only one night here on the last night of our Italian trip. We had wanted somewhere convenient, near to the shopping areas and sights although it’s not our first visit to the city.

Took the larger Junior Suite since there are three of us. We checked in around 12:30 and instead of simply brushing us off and asking us to return later, our lovely receptionist worked with housekeeping to get the room ready. As we approached the room, housekeeping was just putting the finishing touch to the extra bed and was apologetic about it. It was clearly not an issue as the hassle of leaving the luggage and walking around with hand carry bags did not exactly appeal to us.

The room itself was large and functional. The king sized bed was firm and very comfortable. In room safe, mini fridge, electric kettle and free WiFi rounded up the usual amenities provided. The bathroom was more than adequate with a separate shower area and a bathtub. Although there’s no shower curtain or screen over the bathtub.

One fault we found was the inability to deadbolt the door as it is just slightly off alignment. Not really a big issue and I’m sure it will be quickly fixed after we inform reception. Another was the rumbling noise of the trams going by despite the double pane. But shouldn’t be an issue except for the most noise sensitive guests?

Between the location and the friendly service, will definitely consider staying here again if we are ever back in Milan.

We stayed here for one night on a recent 24 hour layover in Milan. It was just okay. Both checkin and checkout were slow. Both times, there was only one person ahead of me, but the front desk people were very slow and unfriendly. The room was plain, small, and simple with the bare minimum. Few toiletries and only one set of towels (after calling down to request more, I was told there was a second set hidden in the drawers). We were in an inside room so there was no view (just of other inside rooms’ windows). The bed and WiFi were fine. We paid extra for the breakfast which was limited in options and not very tasty, but at least the servers there were friendly.

The only good thing about this hotel was the great location. It was in the middle of the city and all the major sights were within a 30 min walk. We were able to cram in as much sightseeing as possible during our short stay.

The hotel was fine for our purposes (24 hour layover), but I would not recommend it to others. Coincidentally, I had also booked the same hotel back in March 2020 when the pandemic first hit. They refused to give me a refund. I should have learned my lesson.

We stayed here for our last night in Italy before flying out of Milan airport and it was a disappointing finish to our trip. We were given a room towards the rear of the hotel with windows overlooking some sort of delivery area which was very noisy during the night. The room itself was tired and the shower was small and awkward to use. The bed was uneven, lumpy and very hard and there were a number of mosquitos in the room which made for an uncomfortable night. The breakfast buffet was good, and the staff were efficient and helpful, particularly when we asked for a late checkout so we could shower and change before catching an evening flight. I suspect we were given one of their less desirable rooms and other rooms might be better than the room we were given however for the price we paid the experience should have been better.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of. Sincerely, Matteo Tuzzi

Finally got to stay here after two years. We originally had a booking in May 2020 but the hotel did not give us a refund. We had a voucher valid for two years. At the point of booking the room, would you believe I had to pay additional money.

We stayed for my husbands 30th - highlighted this to staff and they did nothing special for us. Not even a birthday card.

Parking was horrendous and only available until check in and out - otherwise they charge you for another night.

Breakfast was €15 euros per person!

Would never stay again.

We have stayed at Cusani once before and it is a nice cool oasis within Milan when the summer is hot. There is a need for some refurbishing here and there, but we like the positioning close to the train from Malpensa and close to the mall up to the Duomo. The service at the front desk is very friendly (Italian) and the hotel offers a good quality comfort sleep with delicate rooms and bathrooms. Sad, but hotels in Milan are too expensive to enjoy for many days.

I was so dilligant in reading reviews before I booked with my friend for a few days in Milan. I wanted my first time in Milan to be special but imagine my surprise when I got to the hotel we carefully picked and discovered that they completely ignored my request for twin beds. Staff was completely uncooperative and then they said yes we’ll move you tomorrow and I conceded that we can get past this blunder but just now I was informed that I would just have to wait until Sunday. This is the worst hotel I have ever been to. The AC is hot. There is no view. Staff is unhelpful. No one even bothered to help with our bags. Its either not worth the four star reviews or they were deliberately being racist. I’m deeply dissapointed and I will not be coming back to this hotel and I will leave reviews everywhere so friends in Dubai and UAE can skip this inhospitable location. Its a one star hotel.

Right from the very start, our host, Marco P. Was very welcoming and helpful. We had booked a Superior Double and were very kindly upgraded to a Junior Suite. Room itself was spacious, well appointed and the bed was simply huge and very comfortable. We were only here for 1 night before flying back to London, although, the next time we are in Milan, this would be top of our list. Location is excellent, right opposite the Castello, 10 minute walk from the train station that serves Malpensa on the Express line and very close to the Via Dante, at the bottom of which you will find the Duomo. Great city hotel and highly recommended.deserves at least 4* rating imo. Bravo!

The reception manager GIULIA was extremely rude. The hotel rejected my parcel which i have told them weeks ago. They blame me for not putting my name on the guest list (I am the one who did the booking via bookings).

I enquired to add an additional bed, but did not move forward with that (Didnt reply to confirm I want it, I only asked for the price in the email). When I reached, they upgraded me, I told them that I do not require that upgrade, they said I do not have to pay extra and they will remove the additional bed the next day. When I was about to check out, they charged me for the upgrade and blamed me for not informing them that I do not wish to go forward. I told them that I did not reply to the email which is clear that I did not want to move forward and that I told them from the time I checked in. Giulia blamed me for not sending an email to tell them that I do not want it. Extremely rude customer service. I will never set foot at this hotel ever again.

Bookings.com mentioned that it comes with a complimentary airport shuttle, that is another lie. The hotel do not provide it eventhough it is listed online via bookings.com. Do not fall into this trap.

If I can give a 0 I will give a 0 for this hotel.

We had the worst experience. Booked the hotel last minute because we read amazing reviews and the pictures looked good. However, when we arrived the room looked nothing like the pictures. The bed was very hard, the bathroom was dirty and there were still pieces of toiletpaper in the toilet. With the current COVID situation this is unacceptable. When we tried to explain this to the staff they were very rude and didn't show any understanding. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Fantastic stay! I cannot fault this hotel 10/10.

The reception staff are friendly and are quick to process check in and check out

The location is fantastic close to duomo, the luxury shopping street and brera there are loads of restaurants cafes bars literally within a 5 minute walk.

The breakfast had a wide variety, cheese, meats, eggs hot breakfast cold breakfast fruits, yogurts etc. lots of Italian cheeses which were delicious. There was also Prosecco for mimosa lovers.

The room was spotless! Fantastic amenities everything you ever need is already in the room.

The staff is really friendly, I really enjoyed my stay here.

Thank you Una Hotel Cusani, I shall return should I come back to Milan

The hotel restaurant serves excellent food however the menu is limited regarding choice. It serves a fillet steak only a couple of fish dishes and the rest of the menu is a variety of pasta dishes. I don’t know what their winter menu is like. Having said that there are excellent restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. I would recommend “Nabbuco” restaurant
