Nice hotel. walking distance to shops and resturants. Breakfast was awful cold and not a good selection. Rooms were nice and comfortable beds were good about a 4 star. Lots to see in Milan and this hotel is easy to get to most place by foot. shopping was great other than that the church was lovely but Milan itself did...

This hotel is certainly not 4 stars worthy. At the check-in desk we were met by an incredibly unfriendly person who barely spoke to us and directions to the car park were wrong. When we entered the room it was cold from the aircon (in the middle of August) and when I called down to ask how to turn it...

Room size was decent fit two large suitcases easily. For the location to the Duomo and shopping on the Gallerie Emmanuelle, you can't beat it. Arriving there on a Saturday, it was oddly dead outside! No one walking around- maybe 5-10 ppl on the streets. Parking is not in the building and no one to park it. It's back in...

The hotel is located in the very heart of the city. The rooms are not particularly big but anyway fully functional, comfortable beds, all required equipment in place. Double windows insulation, so a small bit of noise from the streets: very good. Staff very helpful and cheerful. Please also try the restaurant on the last floor, with view on Milan;...

Stayed one night at this hotel the 14th of July. There was some queue at the check-in but the staff was very friendly and helpful so this was not a problem at all. The rooms were very nice, the beds was good and you even had an own "pillow menu" if you preferred an other pillow than the one you...

Had an overnight stay. The hotel is situated in a good location, 5 minutes away from the Duomo so it makes it very practical to walk around. Staff is nice although I thought the Reception area was a bit too small for the amount of people that good and come out which sometimes leads to waiting at Check in and...

We stayed for a night only, wishing to stay in a centrally located, not too expensive, hotel. The hotel lived up to expectations. Clean rooms, friendly staff and - importantly- only five minutes walk away from key tourist attractions. We will come again next year

A few minutes stroll from the hotel and you are at the Duomo and the shopping, eating area of Milan. Many other sights also walking distance too. There is a metro station right by the hotel, with a direct connection to the train station, also useful for shuttle bus to airport etc. We got an excellent rate (direct from the...

I stayed here last night while on a short business trip to Milan and was pleasantly surprised at the excellent value this hotel offered. My Executive Double room was on the 5th floor and was very well appointed, spacious, clean and modern. Although I did not spend much time in the room, I would have been happy to and it...

The location of the hotel was excellent, close to Duomo and the shopping area, and easy to reach the rest of Milan through public transport. I've read bad reviews on airco, but this was also working really well (which is definitely needed in July) and temperature could be arranged from within the room. I was afraid of loud noises from...

Staying in Navigli

Neighbourhood Profile
Navigli
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
