Lovely clean hotel and all the staff were very friendly. Hotel close to the Metro and tram stops to the centre of Milan. Bedroom and bathroom were very clean and tidy with everything you needed. The breakfast room was nicely decorated with a very good choice of food and drinks. Would definitely stay at this Hotel again.

Although between 15 and 20 minutes from the station this little 4 star hotel deserves the walk if you want to sleep and stay in a quiet place in this chaotic area. The room I slept in had all the comfort needed and the fresh complimentary fruits as a welcome were very much appreciated. I have to say that the... More

We stayed at the Hotel Sanpi for a 3 night break with 2 other couples. First impressions were good with friendly staff and a clean reception. Rooms were simple, nice and very clean. The bar is small but there are others areas to have your drinks and a small garden too. Within easy walking distance to 2 different lines on... More

Me and my partner stayed here for our final stop whilst visiting Italy. It was a lovely clean hotel, the staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was spacious and again clean and we loved the electric blind! Breakfast was excellent great choice and was really relaxed and a great start to our day! The walk in to Milan was... More

This hotel has personality, in a great location if you want to be near the train station, really friendly staff. Our room was comfortable and large, and being on the ground floor across from a night club, surprisingly quiet. The only mediocre part of the hotel is the breakfast buffet. It was very busy and picked over, and no personal... More

friedly personal, well equiped comfortable room, near the center, easy to be reached from the airport by using Malpensa Express and underground line A. Only 5 minutes walk from the Metro station. Many restaurants in the surrounding.

Christian at reception was very pleasant and quickly honored the online price I showed him upon my non-reservation arrival. The hotel was clean and reasonably priced. The breakfast was more than continental, bountiful and quickly replenished by a very polite staff. We like to walk so the 20-25 minute walk to Il Duomo, etc wasn't a problem, but if you... More

This hotel is really great woth the money. Room not too big but very clean, comfortable, attention to detailed is shown in everything. Location great near metro station five minutes walk and many good restaurants nearby. I will come back. The only minus point is breakfast same everyday. Wish they can have soup or some hot stuff.

I stayed there with my girlfriend for three nights in October. The hotel is perfectly placed with walking distance to the central station, many little restaurants around the hotel and also the city centre, we did not need to use any public transport for our Milano visit. The staff is very professional, friendly and helpful. They all speak good English... More

Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Hotel Sanpi Milano is a modern 4 stars boutique hotel member of the international chain Worldhotels. The hotel is made up of three buildings built at the end of the 19th century, and it has recently been renovated in accordance with a catchy design. The common spaces are inspired by a refined artistic taste thanks to the paintings of contemporary artists. The Hotel is located in the city center, exactly between Piazza Repubblica and Porta Venezia Corso Buenos Aires: the railway link stops in both and it connects with the nearby cities. The Duomo (Cathedral) and la Scala (Opera House) of Milano are reachable on foot. In fact in 10 minutes you will be there and in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele and Montenapoleone street. The hotel is located in Via Lazzaro Palazzi that is a side street of Corso Buenos Aires, the longest shopping street in Europe. In addition the Sanpi is 200 meters far from the main subway lines (red line MM1 Porta Venezia which arrives directly to the exhibition center; yellow line MM3 Repubblica; green line MM2 Centrale). In 5 minutes on foot you can arrive to the Central Station (Air Terminal) and in the surroundings you can find as well the Garibaldi Station (High speed train terminal). The room experience offered from the Sanpi is just unique: 79 rooms one different from each other with atmospheres that range from the modern style interiors conceived by a famous architect studio, to the classic style of vintage furniture. Different rooms are provided with balcony that overlooks the beautiful internal garden, at shelter from the city noise. All the rooms are soundproof and equipped with air conditioning, parquet floor, free satellite TV, telephone, Wi-Fi and in the Suite and Deluxe type there is the hydro-massage bathtub.Within the hotel the guests have access to the modern fitness room Technogym wellness, to the lovely bar on the interior garden where they can be lulled by the silence: the ideal place to taste a cocktail and relax at the same time. In the light restaurant a selection of the best Italian tradition is served together with vintage wines. The small villa, which was once a crossing keeper box, represents now an exclusive house in our private garden. The Business corner is equipped with a PC with internet connection, a printer, fax and a photocopier and it is always at the guests' disposal. The Venice meeting room of 85 sqm can host corporate meeting thanks to the natural light and to all the necessary technical devices such as stereo surround, tv projector, board with changeable sheets. The Hotel Sanpi Milano is member of the international hotel chain Worldhotels and it is identified by the code WW in the GDS systems. The reservations can be done directly or using GDS or internet or mail.thank you for your attention and time. ... more   less
