Thus is our second time at the lovely spot. The rooms are clean, the decorations charming, the staff wonderful and the neighborhood is just close enough to everything you would want to do/see and just enough away that you get to disconnect. The breakfast that...More
We just spent the one night, as it was really just a transit stop back on our trip. The check in at 2 was great, even got us in a little early (just planned on dropping off our bags). The room wasn't massive, but we've...More
We stayed at the Lancaster Hotel for three nights in May. What a great hotel. Breakfast was included and that is a big bonus. I prefer a cooked breakfast, not the coffee and pastry style breakfast, so the scrambled eggs were very welcome. The room...More

We didn't arrive via Bergammo Airport, we came in through Milano Linate Airport and took a taxi from there which was not expensive and quick and easy. WARNING- do not take a cab offered by the well-dressed touts at the airport. Go to the taxi rank and get one there. It is much cheaper. I presume these touts will be in force at Bergamo airport too. If you opt for public transport into the city the tram system is excellent and cheap and easy. Get off at Corso Sempione via Canova and it is an easy walk to the Lancaster.
