Nice, spacious room. Concierge and bellman were both a bit cold and not very welcoming - bellman made it seem as though it was an effort to help me take my bags to my room. Great breakfast included with the room. Good location for access to central Milan but a bit of a hike from the train station.

We were hesitated when decided to book 3 nights in Manzoni instead of the Four Season or other brand hotels near by, but as it turns out, we had a pleasant stay. The room was quite small (but hey, it's depends on the price as well) but nice decorated and comfortable. Very great view we got and it's just within...

We stayed at the Hotel Manzoni for two nights in an executive room. The room was very small, but very well furnished with solid timber work. The room had a pleasant ambience. The hotel itself was spotless, with extensive use of marble in the entry area, stairs and passages etc. The hotel is in a very handy and historic area,...

It´s all bout location, isn't it?? And this hotel is in the best edge of Milan's fashion district. It's not new but, I have to admit that, even with a conservative style, the room was superbly well maintained (congrats to maintenance!) . The non-smoker room was great, impecably cared. From desk made checking in and out very smoothly. Good tips...

If you need to stay in the historic center of Milan this is a great choice. Updated, clean, modern. Large bathroom with a large shower. The staff is friendly and professional. Especially the ladies at breakfast. The restaurant is very good as well.

In September 2013 we (2) stayed in hotels in Provence and Paris, then 2 other hotels in Como and Tremezzo. All 4 hotels had hopeless wifi systems. Hotel Manzoni has an excellent wifi system and this helped us enjoy our stay there for 4 nights. BFG. Hobart, Australia.

This hotel has a great location- right in the centre of Milan's high end fashion district. However, they need to upgrade their rooms. A number of times I have noticed a broken sink, the lights have not worked, there are various parts of the room in need of repairing. I never eat in the hotel because it isn't good quality...

Regular rooms are tiny. Had to upgrade to a suite. They charge a fortune for parking. Rooms beautifully furnished. Breakfast generally not included. Location wonderful if one wants to be in best shopping area.

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighbourhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
