Very happy with my 5 day stay in this lovely hotel. The hotel is perfectly located its walking distance to most major tourist sites. Set in the middle of luxury shopping and surrounded by great places to dine. The staff were very good and I would definitely stay there again.

Everything you want from a great hotel close to the main central attractions of Milan. The Manzoni is well appointed, as good as any 5 star hotels, with attentive polite staff. Ok you don't get your bed turned down at night or chocolates left on your pillow, but it's refreshing to not have that level of intrusion into your stay...

This was my second stay in around 1.5 years. Even though another hotel we were considering had more amenities and the possibility for a room upgrade, we decided that it was important to be within walking distance of the center of town and shopping. We didn't regret our choice. Hotel Manzoni is a small, upscale business-type hotel with nicely appointed...

Hotel Manzoni exceeded my expectations. After reading various reviews online, I booked my stay and I am very happy I stayed with this hotel. Manzoni is situated in the perfect location that is walking distance to the major attractions in Milan. Most notably, you are situated right in the center of the premium shopping district....a shoppers paradise! The staff is...

The location is perfect -- you're in the middle of everything one wants as a traveller in Milan, and yet on a quiet (no cars) street. I asked for a quiet room and got one. It was on the small side, which is to be expected in the middle of a city like Milan for anything other than a lavish...

My boyfriend and I spent one night at this hotel and it was one of the best hotels we've stayed at. The staff were friendly and provided exceptional service. We had settled in for about 60 minutes then left the hotel to wander the city. (Slippers and robes were provided in the room as well as a safe.) We came...

We've just stayed here for one night, the rooms were clean and spacious but we didn't get the feeling that we were at home there. The staff doesn't make you feel welcome and it's more something of a business hotel where everyone is just minding his own business. Wifi didn't work properly either.

Hands down the location is superb, it is situated between the two famous shopping street in Milan, it is also walking distance to the famed Milan Duomo, the trip takes around 10 minutes by walking. The staff attitude feels cold and distance, they are definitely professional, however they do not go out of their way to make you feel welcomed...

We had a fabulous time when we spent a long weekend at Hotel Manzoni last month in the run-up to Christmas. Staying in Centro Storico

Neighbourhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
