hotel in a very good location. quite helpful staff . very clean room comfortable and soft beds to sleep on. the duomo is only a 20 minute walk away. the only negative is the soundproofing in the room, you can hear everything from the neighboring rooms as well as from outside the street
We arrived on a saturday afternoon, had 2 rooms booked and both was ready for 2pm, triple room was lovely, could tell it had been recently updated and was well worth the money, the double room looked a little older but don’t let this put you off, it had comfy beds and nice shower, we paid for the $5 breakfast and it was fabulous, cold meats, breads, biscuits, juices, we was able to leave our luggage while we went and explored some more and when we returned was allowed to sit in the breakfast area while waiting for ubers, this weekend was 33* plus and inside the hotel was cool and comfortable, the hotel location is brilliant, it was 30 min walk to the cathedral, and main square, a lovely park 5 min walk, and bars around the hotel, i would highly recommend and if i return to the city i would definitely use again , was a girls trip so 5 of us and at no point did we feel unsafe in or around the hotel and that for us is a massive plus!…
The hotel is conveniently located close to Porta Venezia metro station and within a 20 minute walk of most central locations. The room I had was rather small but enough for one night as it had all the amenities necessary. I was located on the first floor and could hear noise from down below. Asked in advance for an earlier check-in but this was not available. Pity, as a couple of hours would have made a huge difference. Staff were polite and professional.
Our room was modern but extremely small. As in you have to move the bed to open the dresser drawers small. But that’s not the reason for the one star. They don’t allow you to leave the hotel with your room key. Then they gave us the wrong key when we returned. This a huge safety issue! Unfortunately we are stuck here at this point but I would not recommend staying here as long as this policy is in place.
Staff took a long time to find my agoda reservation, got a room that looked vastly different from pictures, not in a good way. I stayed in July and it is very busy. Expect to wait for check in, and breakfast can be crowded. Overall, staff was helpful. There is aircon but it can be loud if you are a quiet sleeper. Room is not soundproofed.
After a 6am flight, my friends and I arrived in Milan at 10:30am. Exhausted from our 3am rise, we decided to make our way straight to the Eurohotel from Milano Centrale station rather than look around Milan as we had planned, despite the 3pm check-in time. The Eurohotel is an easy 20 minute walk from the station (a nice surprise) and our room was ready as soon as we got there, meaning that after a quick and easy check-in, we were able to leave our things and have a well-earned rest. Our room had three beds, and, despite being quite small and sparse, was nonetheless a good base - aircon, great wifi, a tv, nice amenities (shower, fridge, etc). For me, however, it was the location of the Eurohotel which was the most useful: there were plenty of great restaurants around; a very nice cocktail bar; a great cafe (which serves affordable french toast!!); and the hotel offers 10% off at 'La Ragazza' - a nearby pizzeria - which is 5 minutes away and delicious. The Eurohotel is also easily accessible by tram and metro. Similarly, the walk to the Duomo is around 30 minutes, during which you pass the (very famous) Via della Spiga and Via Monte Napoleone, as well as Milan's Natural History Museum and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. Finally, after my friends and I struggled to navigate back from the Naviglio (canal) area of the city, the receptionist (accessed over phone) was extremely useful, telling us which busses and trams to get. If you're looking for somewhere fancy/chic to stay, then, the Eurohotel is maybe not the place - if, like us, however, the hotel is a base for exploration (a place to return to but not to hang out in), I would wholeheartedly recommend it.…
Eurohotel is very nice, clean and chic rooms (if small and bare). The staff was helpful accommodating us with a late checkout. However, our room, 133, was separated from a kitchen restaurant by plexiglass. We heard plates and dishes being loudly washed until 2am! Sounds like this wasn’t the first time clients have complained. Avoid the above numbered rooms! The walls are a little thin but it’s not a place to do much more than sleep in your room. Great location surrounded by fun restaurants.
Was a family of 3 travelling to Italy from Singapore under the Vaccinated Travel Lane, where my Singapore Vaccination certificate is an equivalent to the Italian Green Pass. Our vaccination certificates had a QR code, but could not be scanned by the Italian App as in it only could read QR codes from European countries (all above information Verified with the Italian Embassy and my local government). I had no such issues entering hotels, trains and flights in my past 12 days in Italy (rome, florence, pisa, venice), where everyone I met would just read the certificate and manually verify it without the scanning app. Untrained—> However, upon arrival, the front desk at the hotel insisted I show a Green Pass for me to be admitted, and refused to check the certificate manually. Upon Questioning them on why they could not do so manually, they simply claimed that the previous few people we met were not doing their job well and they were following the CORRECT standard procedure, which they highlighted I quote “our government is not doing their job well”. This meant that they claimed the Italian National Air Carrier, Italian National Train Operators, were incompetent, and allowed us to fly and travel around being a “COVID RISK”. Rude —> This obviously got frustrating for both sides, which I would understand if the Hotel staff would get impatient. However, there was a tan skinned Asian male hotel receptionist ( from the Philippines if the accent I heard is correct), who was exceptionally rude to us. He was the one who claimed the Italian government was not doing their jobs properly, and repeatedly shouted at us saying “You are in Europe now sir, it is different”. This was really rude, considering we told him that we had already been in Italy for 12 days already and were familiar with the regulations. He also claimed our vaccination certificates were fake and threatened to call the police on us after I said that the Italian embassy back in Singapore had already clarified to me that our COVID vaccination certificates are Italian Green Pass equivalent, where it should be manually read and not scanned. This man also engaged and initiated a verbal argument with us, instead of trying to help us as guest. Smoking us —> After a while, the manager I presumed, stepped in to resolve the issue and came to an agreement for us to declare and sign a form to agree that we were following the rules, which I appreciate. However, he tried to prove his point where our “certificates” were invalid by saying the app could scan a Bulgarian covid vaccination certificate, which I trusted. However, that day I realised that Bulgaria was part of the EU and definitely could be scanned by the App, as mentioned above where the app could only scan EU QR codes. Sketchy —> before booking this hotel, we read that the hotel had a nice balcony from the reviews for some rooms, and we thought that we could have a chance to get such a room. ( we did not ask for such a room, as we were busy trying to get our hotel room). So, after our stay was “approved”, we were led outside the hotel down 2 blocks to a room far away from the hotel, and this was a surprise, as we had expected our stay to be in the hotel main building, but were led to some room in the back alley. Very disappointing. Disclaimer —> when I called out the tan skinned Asian male, it is not because of racism but it is simply to allow other guests, if any, to identify the person who waisted 1hr of our time and the person who were rude to us. I am also asian, and would never bring myself to be racist to another person, especially another Asian. A list of covid equivalent certificates can be found on the EU website, so if the hotel staff is reading this, please educate yourself and not tell your guests they are in Europe and insult them as such. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND any guest to waste your money in such a poor establishment. There are simply lots of other good hotels/apartments for this pricing. I have been to many other hotels in Italy and around the world, and by far this is the worse one I’ve stayed in so far.…
I have been at the euro hotel for a four night stay, for business. When I arrived, there were issues with the payment - that they required in advance and with even a pre-paid night that should had been excluded according to the reservation policy. I entered to a very dirty room, get downstairs to say and they agreed to change the room but saying, "if you're not satisfied you may change the hotel" - which unfortunately I did not have the time to do. Both the rooms were very noisy. The morning after I discovered a terrific service with the breakfast: no respect of anti-COVID rules, everything was extremely dangerous with family-packs instead of monos, and there were not gluten free and dairy free options - that I had asked at least two weeks in advance with my reservation - neither fresh fruit or eggs. Last but not least, a part from the people in charge of the cleaning, all others have been aggressive, totally unpolite and the girls at the reception have a fool and disrespectful attitude, always laughing and kiddind their customers instead of learning some good manners and get experience. MY WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER. Please don't go there!…
The room I stayed in at eurohotel was on the small side, but certainly not lacking in faciliries, with storage space, en suite bathroom and TV etc. The location is good, with easy access to public transport and tourist destinations easily accessible by foot with a walk. Breakfast is available at a nearby partner restaurant - they give you a voucher for 5 euro to spend there.
