The hotel is located close to the Duomo which is pretty nice. Besides that the hotel was expensive and small rooms. The breakfast was good for Italian standard. As far as I heard most of the hotels in Milan are pretty expensive therefore, I would recommend this hotel for a sightseeing trip.

A very well located small hotel in the very center of Milan at walking distance from Piazza del Duomo (less than five minutes), Teatro della Scala and the Fashion Triangle (Via Montenapoleone). Recommended for short couple and business stay. The hotel has been recently refurbished: the welcome is charming, the bed and bathroom furniture high quality, the service prime level....

You would be hard pressed to find a more convenient location in the center of the old section of Milan. This hotel is very reasonable, clean and has a welcoming and helpful staff. All the rooms have been recently updated and are very comfortable.

Great location, lovely staff, i recommend paying a bit extra in order to get a junior suite as they are lovely! Would definitely stay here again especially since it is a 2 min walk from the duomo! The staff were always happy to help, and were very friendly.

Hotel with few rooms, but in the hearth of Milan, just one minute far from Duomo. Small rooms but comfortable and with new forniture. No moquette on the floor. Clean and silent. Good breakfast, not complete as other hotel but it's ok for starting a working day. Suggested.

Friendly and family owned hotel, in the heart of Milan, few minutes walk from the cathedral and shopping district. Ideal for short city break and to discover Milan fashion capital. Clean and basic room, hotel spilt in to 2 levels in an old Milanese building. Maybe the breakfast should be a bit improve, with a larger selection of fresh local...

I love this hotel. I booked Double Room and it is much bigger than what i expect. The location is very strategic (for me), just 3minutes walk to the Milano Duomo (gothic church). The shopping street is just behind this hotel, a very short walking distance. You may find shops like Zara, Bershka, Foot Lockers, Mac, etc. however the Dining...

Very nice little hotel in the very center of Milan. More than hotel seems to be at home. Rooms are very nice and modern. Clean and comfortable . The hotel floors have been refurbished in a very nice style. Personnel are very gentle and helpful. For a short stay for holidays or business I recommend this hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hotel La Madonnina. To me a great staff will always make up for any deficiencies a property may have, not that La Madonnina had any, the room was nice and clean, plenty of space and the bed was pretty comfortable. Location was good too! The staff was awesome, really made me feel welcomed.

You cant get closer to the city centre than this, the hotel is located 2-300 m from the Duomo. We had a newly renovated room. Great value for the price we paid. Some rooms have French balconys/windows, and some rooms have larger balconys. Simple breakfast in the reception area. Helpful staff. Some traffic outside, but with closed windows, it did...

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighbourhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
