Note that it is B&B and not a hotel. The location is good enough next to the metro and city center. The sign of the hostel is small so it will take you few minutes to be sure you are in the right place. The stuff is good. Check in is so easy and it is 24 hours check in,... More

Stayed two nights at a single bedroom room. The double bed was a combination of two separate single mattresses, which drifted apart every two seconds - not a good feeling when you are with your soulmate. Only one towel per person, no shampoo or body gel. The personnel was kind and lovely. I would not choose this place again. Oh... More

This was the first hostel I ever stayed in and it was a bad introduction. The first problem was how small the sign was so it was not easy to find. The hostel bathrooms were not clean. The place is pretty small and has no common area so you will be very limited if you want to meet other travelers.... More

Worst place I have ever stayed in my entire life! Checking in was a mess considering we had already paid a deposit they tried to over charge us. Rooms were awful, beds uncomfortable, quite gross actually and had to constantly leave room for shared showers and toilets. Locks not safe on doors one night we had a stranger walk into... More

the beds are too close to each other - I do not recommend this place if you travel alone. I actually was able to feel the breath of the stranger on the next bed. There are no lockers available in the room :( They don't give you a key for the room - it is always open 눇I did like... More

I honestly can't think of a single positive thing about this place. I have never felt so unsafe. Not only is this hostel located on the 3rd floor of a sketchy building in a sketchy area, but THE DOORS DON'T HAVE LOCKS! What kind of hotel or hostel doesn't have locks on the doors?? Anyone who wants can just walk... More

Not really like a hotel, but had staff on duty round the clock, it was really a whole floor of a block flats. Comfortable, but no good for breakfast. Not as near the station was we expected, BUT it was near three all Vegan restaurants, and a lovely park.

Nice staff! All within easy walking distance. 10-15 minutes walk from the Duomo. 5-8 minutes walk from the train station. Nearby breakfast options. Who comes to sightseeing, I can recommend. Nori from Budapest

If you're just looking for a one-night stand with a hostel, San Tomaso will suffice. No lockers in the room to store your stuff, but there's not a huge need if you're just sleeping next to all your bags. Check in was fine, and the receptionist stored my bags with valuable while I went off and explored the city. I... More

The website stated that it is located a few steps from milan central station. It took us around 20 minutes to walk from the station to the hotel. The website also states that there is free wifi all through the hotel, but when we got there, it was only available at the reception area and not in our room. When... More

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
