The corridor is really dirty, it looks like the staff had never clean it. The room seemed a little better, but the smell of smoke and to find several hairs among the blankets was quite disgusting. Breakfast is served too late, from 7:30, so I was not able to try it.

If you do not look at the details like missing bed lamps and broken furniture it is not a bad place to stay. Only the bathroom was really ugly but clean. Breakfast was quite simple but the coffee was brilliant and in combination with the hot croissants it was everything we needed. The location is good, close to the underground...

Pretty bad: -Lock on the door not working properly. I found my door unlocked several times!!! -Power cut one night (unbeliveable) -Noisy street: Traffic, trams & underground. I used ear plugs every night. -Bathroom narrow -Towels rather small -Not enough variety in breakfast -Lady in the reception pretty rude (all other staff was nice) -Internet connection expensive and not working...

Excellent location with access to trams and trains. It is a basic hotel with high standards of cleanliness, hotel a little dated, needs a modernisation. Tv in rooms and some with Air conditioning. Breakfast good with some variety. Welcoming, friendly and helpful staff.

The staff was friendly, but the rooms are very modest, the bathroom door can not be closed. Hotel location is good.

Unfortunately stayed at this Hotel (if that is what you can call it) which was booked for us by a third party. If we'd known beforehand how bad it was, we'd never have given it a second thought. There was black mould in between the tiles all around the shower recess and along the bottom of the shower doors. The...

Good. The staff were very nice and laid back. Those thin towels that everyone else gives out about, I quite liked. Bad. The heating/ac didn't work, shower door didn't close, the wardrobe door didn't open, shower took longer than I'd shower for to heat up, the tv had no remote and very little signal. Not very clean.

I stayed here last night in a rainy day of Novber. The hotel has very poor quality of standard: bathroom dirty and small, electrics plugs open, bedroom light not working, towels super thin and most annoying the noise in the room:you can hear the tram running almost all night! I wouldn't stay there again even if it is cheap and...

The room was very basic, however comfortable. The sheets were changed daily as well as the towels. There was a funky odour coming from the bathroom, it could have done with a make over and a good clean. Lovely court yard view, but be prepaired for a 4am wake up as bin men came at this time on a Wednesday!...

Staying in Navigli

Neighbourhood Profile
Navigli
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.

“Stayed in both a double and single room. Both were shabby but would ask for room to be on left hand side of the building as there is far less noise from traffic. Dont stay on second floor as there are problems with air conditioning.”
