Rooms are fine, bathroom large enough and good bed. Maybe a bit noisy as it overlooks a large road, next to the train station but there is no noise coming from the train tracks. Main sound comes from cars, ambulances etc which is quite the same in many other hotels. Within walking distance of Eataly to bring back food but...

Stayed here for my birthday on NYE, and given drinks vouchers as a perk. We were upgraded to a bigger room as they were fully booked but given a twin instead of a queen as we had previously requested/ booked. The staff were beyond amazing, especially Massimo at front desk, who went well out of his way to help us...

This hotel is based near the Garibaldi staton, some distance from the centre of town but near the HQs for Google, Accenture and many other major companies. It is a very standard business hotel with very thin walls. Wifi is free and good, beds are very comfortable and the shower is fine. The staff are businesslike.

I enjoyed a couple of nights here, and found the location and staff to be great. It's about 2-3 blocks from Girabaldi Train Station. Coming in on the airport express train, this is an easy walk. There is also a subway entrance right outside the door and streetcar stops 1 block away. It's also just a 10-15 min walk to...

5 stars on the staff friendliness . Dominico gave us a wonderful welcome to the hotel and the city itself . Unfortunately my room is about 85 degrees and I can't make it cooler nor can we sleep . I wish the facilities was as accommodating as our checking in expierence.

I had a nice 2 night stay at this hotel. The lobby and room were modern and stylish with wooden floors in the large bedroom, comfortable bed, mini bar and desk. There was also a large tv and couch. I didn't get to try the breakfast there but was told there was a charge of 16 euros (if I remember...

Second time stay in this hotel. Simple, correctly priced, good equipped. It is what it is. Breakfast basic but has all necessary. They got room ready before check in, i appreciate it a lot. I would recommend this place.

Sometimes when travelling, we arrive late and leave early. This is the perfect hotel for that. It is one of the new style Marriotts, stripped down in terms of amenities, but very nice. Clean very comfortable room, nice bar downstairs, no food that I could discern. Many, many restaurants closeby although the one the concierge recommended was "gonzo" and loud....

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
