We had high expectations of this hotel. However, we were so disappointed that we checked out an hour after arriving, not a decision taken lightly as it cost us £300 as we had prepaid for the night. Superficially it looked good and there are great write ups on tripadvisor. However, a disinterested individual at reception did not help our arrival....

Very nice and unusual small hotel reasonably convenient for centre of Milan with all necessary comforts and good staff. A little on the expensive side but on the whole a good experience with no complaints.

chaming hotel with nice rooms decorated in an elegant classic style with a small kitchen that can allow to spend longer periods. The rooms were well equipped, with a god 1,50 bed, sky tv channels, good safety box, a mi ibar, acceptable free wifi, and well maintained minibar and a well equipped bathroom. It was a very good and personal service. The reception is really service minded. The hotel is small and very charming. It has a good atmosphere - and the decoration is a visit worth. The breakfast is also very good and variated.

Thank you to all the staff, especially the reception staff. We had a wonderful stay. Juliana, the reception staff, gave us lots of information about Milan, eg, where to go, the direction to the city. The Chambermaids were very thorough in cleaning the rooms. Thank you once again.

Our room was pretty, but that was the end of the service..... We needed to request our bed sheets to be changed on a daily basis; staff acted as if customers were a burden; breakfast rarely was available on time, but ended punctually; drink refills were never with clean cups; room supplies (eg shampoo, soap, water, cream, tea, etc) were...

In all our rooms, suite included, there is an information plaque that explains our eco-friendly policy: we do not change bed linen, towels and guest amenities (if just opened and not finished) daily for environment's sake. Once you aske to our maids to change them daily, they did it. About your advices on breakfast, we are doing an investigation among...

Amazing property in terms of decoration. Slightly off the Duomo square. Check-in and check-out were lengthy, there is no restaurant in the property and if one orders a pizza, a 6 euro charge is levied for eating it in the room... There is room for improvement

Staying in Navigli

Neighbourhood Profile
Navigli
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
