The room was essential but far from basic. I picked the king bed which was a actual king, very rare in Italy. Clean, well organised, quiet. After 11pm you can check in with the kiosk outside but also you can be assisted by the personnel in advance via email. Everyone was really helpful and quick in reply. There is a mini fridge (which has no products thought) but there is a vending machine downstairs. I didn't try breakfast. The area is very central and quiet, it can be reached easily with the underground. In all, an amazing quality/price ratio! Super convenient! Will go back.

Hotel's Favourite
Great breakfast to start the day-worthwhile optional extra. Although very little to explore in immediate area, good metro/train links to city sights and airport (with quick line change sometimes) made this perfect, quieter location for us. Just 15mins to reach Duomo and even quicker for Navigli's restaurants. Can buy ticket valid for 24hrs travel if hopping around. We had much needed aircon and balcony with street/rear of da vinci science museum view, in modern room with comfy bed, great shower and convenience of fridge. Friendly, helpful staff. Easy booking direct online and good value. Very convenient late check-in available and access arrangements communicated well via email. Nice lounge areas in basement with games, etc and rooftop terrace (even though parts need maintainence). TV connects to apps such as Netflix through Chrome cast. Would definitely stay again.

We had a happy stay and we were generally pleased. Our room and bed were quite comfortable, we had daily cleaning and change of towels as per our request, the breakfast was very good, plentiful and very satisfactory for a B&B hotel. We had an issue with our room's curtains, we politely complained one moment and the next moment they had replaced them. When we also made a remark about seeing multiple times during breakfast times a cleaning lady being self served, they apologized and we didn't notice it again. In conclusion, the reception ladies and gentlemen were very polite and extremely helpful. The area was quiet and not very far by walking to the Duomo Piazza while the metro stations were not far away. The things that we want to draw the attention are the loud noises from the adjoining rooms and the corridors (somehow understable since it is a big hotel, but still) and the cleaning which it's the reason that we rate it with 4 stars instead of 5 stars.

The hotel is extremely basic. Rooms are clean but very dated, lots of scuffs on the walls, wallpaper peeling off etc, but was fine as a base. The one thing that completely ruined it for us was the noise. I’ve never stayed at a hotel that allows people to run up and down the corridors screaming and slamming doors all night. We had a group of girls next door to us as well and they were shrieking, playing the TV on full volume all night and generally just being very inconsiderate. The hotel offered us free breakfast for one day to say sorry, but the fact that I had to put headphones in to drown out the shrieking that lasted until 4am every night, it didn’t really compensate for it. The location of the hotel is good and walking distance to most places and transport links, just be aware that the walls are paper thin and people are allowed to run up and down the corridors and scream most nights so you won’t get much sleep.

Make sure that your internet works properly. I was in one of the rooms at the end of the corridor and the internet did not work properly. Some days not at all. Nevertheless, the overall experience was satisfying.
