Glam Hotel is conveniently located right across Milano Centrale station which made it convenient to explore the city with the metro day pass. The hotel and the rooms were clean with very good mattresses for a good night sleep. The shower pressure in the bathroom was excellent. The large vertical windows gave us a lovely view of the station and the Christmas decorations around it. We did not opt for the breakfast and there were plenty of restaurants nearby which we visited in the morning. Would definitely visit again
Booked two rooms for 3 nights in this hotel. Breakfast extra $$$. Wifi worked intermittently. Need to login ever so often. For some reason, the water supply kept shutting. We had to go to request reception to switch on. Very inconvenient. Besides, receptions, have a very cold front. Although the receptionist tries to be helpful in everyway, somehow, we get the feeling that they are unhappy. No smiles and no greetiings. Not staying again..
We stayed here for a short city break in Milan. Excellent location, 3 minutes walk from Milan Central station for connections to airports and other towns/ cities across Italy and other European cities, in addition to the metro and trams. We had a very early flight home and was so easy getting to the airport. The area felt safe with lots of good places to eat a short walk away with a mix of locals and tourists. Entrance and communal areas in the hotel were nice. Check in straight forward though not much communication from staff nor asked if we needed any tourist info or assistance etc, just told floor our room was on and kind of left to our own devices despite lots of staff available. Room was clean, quiet, spacious with modern deco, big comfy bed and plenty of storage. Room info when booking advised ironing facilities but these were not available in the room (but did not ask reception possibly available if asked). No tea coffee facilities in the room although kettles etc in a number of people’s pictures- Not sure if this was dependant on the room type booked?!? Wifi fine but had to connect daily. No view despite advertised as city view, we looked onto service area/bins and the back of other buildings. Other rooms had fab city views and views of landmarks. A couple of the hotel pics misleading as appeared there was a roof top area with loungers- staff advised this was only for guests in the suit on the top floor. Would stay again and recommend…
Had a really good experience staying at Glam. Location was so central and perfect! Loved my room and view as well. Had trouble with my key card not working when I arrived but they fixed it after a few tries. They also let me check in early which was nice. It was the perfect place to end my trip to Italy in!
I arrived at night after a long train journey wanting a clean bathroom, shower snack and bed. Well.. the toilet .not cleaned , not even flushed. There were cleaner toilets at the train station!!. The shower.. used amenities and this is during COVID. The minibar , that should have some snacks had nothing. I went down stairs to try to find food and the desk agent said to go to their bar. I went but there was no staff member there to help me. The desk agent said "oh sorry" I will tell the manager. In the morning I came down and the manager said she had heard something about a complaint. When I told her of the state of the room she said I would get a refund but it could take afew days... fine When I recently contacted the hotel to say I had not received it they said I needed written proof. So either the manager was untruthful or incompetent or as I check out next time I should make them give me awritten report on the spot. And all this for only $293. What a steal, literally…
Really great hotel with a convenient location right opposite Milano Centrale. The room was spacious and comfortable, bathroom was great too. We didn’t have breakfast as it wasn’t included but there’s lots of places nearby to pick from. We had a room overlooking the station which provided amazing views!
The hotel is located in central station, and you can access easily by taxi and metro both to the city center and to the airport. I booked a room with a view as I wanted to have a room looking toward the central station and I think it was really worth it. The hotel itself is very modern and has many elevators which is very convenient. The staff are friendly and the bathroom is very spacious which was also good.
Expensive for what you pay for Very basic rooms The floors were so dirty, I was walking with sock and it collected all the dust from the floor. Breakfast is good Friendly staff. Great location, close to train station Very close to hop on and hop off bus station including other tour busses too
The location is prefect next to the station, I wouldn’t recommend staying here more than two days. There is a cleaning problem and drainage issue with the bathroom the sink always overflowing, we mentioned that to the front desk many times but they failed to fixe it, the cleaning staff barley clean anything they only fix the bed and change the garbage. The bell boy or the hotel porter, was useless and didn’t help us with the bag and there was five luggage carts, none of them worked and appeared the hotel never fixed them! So everyone who is coming to the hotel are carrying their own luggage till the rooms. Whatever you will request from room service they will either forget your room number or will deliver it after one hour and half. The public hotel bathroom was really dirty and disgusting.…
The hotel is definitely not worth 4 star rating. I would rate it 2 star. There is nothing worth good talking about this hotel except it’s location. The room we booked for a couple on 6th floor is having only 1 chair. No Water Kettle or Tea maker machine. AC is contrary centrally and they have set the temperature at 26 degree Celsius. When we complained about the same, poor reception guy Claudio provided with Tea maker when Housekeeping Guys didn’t bother to respond even after 1 hour, though it was not his job. Similarly after sweating in the room for 3-4 hours, the gf reduced the temperature to 23 degrees. Even reception of TV signals is poor with frequent disruptions in TV. And all this after paying them much mare than @ 400 Euros per night. TV signals are very good and loss of signals every 30-45 minutes is quite surprising and reflect poorly on the Hotel Management. Even no breakfast for us for some starve frequent.…
