Staff are brilliant; friendly and extremely knowledgeable about Milan. Location is perfect as its a 2 minute walk from the main underground and train station in Milan. Complementary dinner is simple but tasty, however, their was no sign displaying if dishes were vegetarian or not and a vegetarian friend mistakenly ate some mince; that would be easy to fix! Rooms...

We visited Milan mid Jan 2017 and stayed at Ostello Bello Grande. The people are super friendly and helpful and will try to help you however they can. The atmosphere is great with lots of people from different countries making conversation. Loads of cool stuff around like games and instruments. The bar is quite busy at nights, with social events...

I'll start off by saying I have nothing negative to say about the place. Now for all the things I liked about it: * So much free food! - Breakfast, dinner, and snacks and stuff to cook always around * Location - 5 minute walk from main train station * So many places to get to know your fellow travelers...

September 2016 I stayed one night at this hostel. I kinda bumped into a place 'cause Milan was crowded at a time and it was a place no. 16 I was trying to find a bed. Somebody has cancelled his/her reservation and I got the bed. I stayed 'cause I liked the reception Helder, who was customer-oriented and talking my...

Wow! What a fantastic place! They've got everything the weary traveler could want, from clean, pleasant rooms (I had a private triple room with my 2 kids), and a decent hot breakfast, to wonderful, unexpected touches like a rooftop deck with hammocks and 2 comfy game lounges, free loaner iPads and guitars, a free drink at check-in, free concerts in...

The hostel is very fun, with a bar with decent priced drinks and appertivo each night (nothing special). The rooms were very clean and welcoming. This is the best hostel I’ve ever been to. Located close to the main train station it has a perfect location. The stuff was super friendly. There is a welcome drink when you arrive. Breakfast and aperitovo (sort of a dinner) in the evening are free. Unfortunately I didn’t have a lot of time to explore all the amazing things...

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
