The most central hotel, located within the town square, private parking at a cheap price. Warm family management, personal attitude, very clean

Spacious and renovated rooms. The hotel is within walking distance of the city center and the city's shopping. You should use the place and get recommendations from restaurants to trips within 25 km in the area.

This is a fabulous hotel. Set in the heart of Cuneo’s square right next to the pedestrianised old town and a stones throw from the beautiful cathedral, you’d be hard pushed to find a better place to stay.
Communication before arrival was fantastic and easy. Maurizio even sorted out our transport from Turin airport. Not so easy for us to do as we were travelling with bikes (storage at the hotel was provided in their locked garage)
The hotel is clean, steeped in history and the staff are incredibly friendly with a great knowledge of English- far better than my Italian!
Covid measures are still taken very seriously by all staff too.
The room was lovely, a good size, with a balcony. Air-con worked effectively and the bathroom was great. Again, exceptionally clean. House keeping we’re great too.
Breakfast is included with all the usual you’d expect for a good continental graze! Again, staff are exceptionally welcoming.
Cuneo is not really a destination people consider but if you do find yourself heading that way, this is certainly the place to stay!
Mille grazie Maurizio and your family for being so welcoming and looking after us so well.

A last minute choice for a one night sleep, and following the reviews we finished at this hotel, which is right in the middle of Cuneo. The square is rather bare but finding a àrking spot for the night shouldńt be a problem. We managed to park inside our motorbike, where there were another 3 before us.

The service both desk and breakfast was extremely polite and efficient. It seems, by the awards displayed, that it used to be a Best Western. Maybe it still is. The hotel seems recently renovated. The room is not cozy as such, a bit “airport” style, but very well appointed and excellent bathroom, which is not that common in Italy unfortunately.

The double bed was very confortable and the room very quiet.

Not much more to ask from a hotel really. The price is a bit steep but it was high season and a last minute option.

I certainly recommend it both as a base for exploring or for a single night.

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Principe di Piemonte during our two visits to Cuneo. This family-run establishment full of Old World charm is our favorite hotel in Cuneo. The excellent location, well-appointed rooms, scrumptious breakfast and customer service are first class. The staff's warm hospitality and attention to detail are exceptional. We highly recommend Principe and look forward to returning in the future.

An old hotel with welcoming decor. Rooms are cosy and spacious. It's a bit of a rabbit warren but lifts to all floors. No parking available under hotel but you can park in the blue spaces at €1 an hour at the pay machines around the hotel area. No payment required from 7.30 pm to 9 am. Staff are helpful and can suggest local places and a map. Turn left or right out the hotel and under the Portico you will find a variety of shops, cafes and down the side streets restaurants.

Strategically very well located hotel in Cuneo, Piedmont region, Italy. Right in th emiddle of the old part of the City and easy to get out of the town and easy to park. The rooms and the breakfast were OK, but the best part was the staff. The hotel owner (and his family) was just magnificent. Always helpful in making the reservations for the dinners (we were group of 11 people), recommendations were just amazingly good. Helping with the siteseeings etc. The warmest and most pleasent hotel owners/staff that I have encountered. This is how the hotel must be run!

We were driving from France to Germany and decided to stop in Cuneo for a night. The city is not famous for glorious hotels, but we arrived there late, after a long and nerve wrecking drive on a (hard) sports car, needed a place to sleep and some sort of safe car park for the night.
When my girlfriend proposed this hotel I was not very excited but, again, for a night only... I am frankly not a fan of the chain, and I usually have to fight with my inner soul to go for a place that I do not "worship": I am spoiled! Not a good thing, agree, but everyone has his faults....

The location is the best you can find in town, central and very close to the city historical center. I decided to go in and ask directly if a room was available, a bit concerned that something may happen to me on the way in, but... Surprise! The patron, a very helpful and friendly gentleman, welcomes me in and offers his help. At this point I feel at ease, so I put forward my requests: ok for the room (no smoking, king bed, etc) and ok for the indoor car park. Splendid! (But still something deep inside was telling me to go...)
When the gentleman comes out to get the luggage from the car (an iconic Italian sports car) something happens: he gets very excited and becomes even more helpful: he offered to lock our car in their indoor storage area for the night (for additional safety) and to upgrade us to their best suite.
My expectations were rising, but I could not have suspected what that meant: the suite was simply amazing, with two terraces on the main square and an irregular layout that made the pace even more charming. Spacious and comfortable, large bathroom, nicely decorated, classy and... Unusual. What a surprise! And I was expecting a silly place for the night...
Of course it is not the Ritz Paris, the breakfast is served in a boring room and quite average, but someone "up there" may punish me if I were complaining! Definitely splendid experience, helpful staff and highly recommended! My top score will help me to remember how silly I was at the very beginning and that prejudices may take us away from excellent opportunities.

I've been a business traveler for 40 years and I have to say that really good hotels are hard to find but, this one sits in a very elite group. Very comfortable room, excellent breakfast complete with a formal waiter and good lobby staff who just wanted to be helpful and were. This needs to be on everyone's list of places to stay.
