Came to Torino for an autumn break and the city is a undiscovered jewel. The Grand Hotel Sitea had a nice, well laid our cozy room at the "deluxe" level. There was great storage and lighting.

This hotel is in the center of it all, easy walking distance to everything.

Pro-tip, the wonderful rain shower is connected to turing on the heated towel rack to get hot water in the rain shower. We didn't figure this out on our arrival and had to ask at the front desk, because we were worried it was faulty. They immediately sent someone up to show us how to operate the shower/towel rack combo and the heating.

The breakfast at the hotel was wonderful, holiday decorations are up and the place has a nice buzz. The buffet was extravagent and the coffee perfect!

Finally the staff is wonderful. Mauro recommended the restaurant Solferino (great choice) and was so welcoming. Gabriel allowed us a late checkout which allowed us to visit more of Turin, have lunch and then head out without any downtime.

All around five stars.

Stayed here for 3 nights and very impressed with every aspect, warm and cosy in an excellent location and although in a very central position was very quiet. Room/bathroom very spacious with separate wardrobe area. All staff were welcoming and helpful. Buffet breakfast was excellent, varied and plentiful there was even sparkling wine on offer! my only niggle was operating the shower which I discovered did not operate unless the towel rail was on, it would have been appreciated if this was turned on prior to my visit. I am disappointed that when I enquired if they had other Hotels this unfortunately is the only one which is a real shame.

This is one of those grand old hotels. It’s extremely well located, just a block away from the high street of Turin. The Egyptian museum is nearby; as are many restaurants. During the two days I was in Turing we walked around the downtown.

There are cafes around so we did not book breakfast.

The place is professionally run. When I asked for a good restaurant, I was directed to one about 10 minutes away, not to the one in the hotel itself.

For some, it can be professionally cold.

But it's old fashioned: there are steps leading to the reception so a porter is needed to help take the luggage up.

Parking is available on on the hotel’s grounds for 15€.

Yes, it's worth considering if you want to be in the town centre.

We stayed for four nights in the Classic Suite, room 429. I think this is the one and only suite in the hotel. It was spacious by European standards. The photos on the hotel's web site are accurate. The bathroom has two sinks, toilet, bidet, bathtub and shower. There is a closet/dressing room that you walk through from the bedroom to the bathroom. The windows are interior-facing, so it's very quiet.

Breakfast was very nice, served in two attractive rooms. Their coffee (Americano) was great.

The staff was very helpful. They suggested a tour guide (Carlotta Muti) who was terrific, and pointed us to a nice nearby pharmacy for our Covid tests which were required before our trip back to the U.S.. We had to check out at 6:00 a.m. and they had our car ready to go outside the door.

Overall, we thought it was a good buy for the money.

this is truly a five-star hotel not only is it a fabulous location, but it also has all the amenities and overall charm. The front office couldn’t of been more helpful or nice room was extremely well appointed Nice sitting area big closet area. The bed was very comfortable with very fine linen. There was a kettle for a coffee and tea and a mini bar with complementary drinks and a snack. The bathroom also is excellent they had all the amenities high end, body creams, etc. lighting was good only negative thing I would say it wasn’t really good for plugging. In all your devices. They did have a place near the kettle. but personally, I like my near my bed The location was prime right around you. You could do everything from dinners to grocery shopping to drug stores and I even got my hair done within a 30 to 50 m walk for breakfast was lovely you could eat outside or inside. The buffet was nice I was disappointed and when I asked about an omelette, they said it would’ve been an extra charge. Everything was within walking distance of major importance in the city. I highly recommend this hotel and hopefully I will stay here again or my next trip to Italy.

We're staying for 3 nights with full breakfast included. It is situated in the heart of downtown Turin - safe and comfortable!
The hotel has a spacious lobby where you can sit with your best friend or with a group of friends. It also has a backyard court with seating space for many, with the special feature of 5 friendly tortoises to keep you entertained.
The rooms are spacious with all amenities included. The shower options are plenty, including a rain showerhead that is hard to abandon.
The full breakfast includes fresh fruits, breakfast meats and egg options, roasted vegetables, croissants, pastries, breads, cereals and most importantly, delicious cappuccino!
Staff were friendly and helpful when needed. A delightful stay!

Everything is top class. The staff, the room, the restaurant, the location.
The politeness, professionalism and service level of the staff is outstanding. You feel welcome and apprecitated no matter who you talk to at the hotel.
On top of that the atmosphere and lay out all over the hotel is fantastic.

Our first time in Turin and, thankfully, we chose a hotel with a spectacular historic city center location and an extremely friendly/helpful staff (especially “Mr Ohio”. They don’t have a dedicated concierge but they don’t need one as each and every staff person we spoke with was all about friendly-hospitality. The breakfast (included) was continental average but the small bar was lovely and the non-Michelin restaurant was solid. The rooms were slightly dated but always well cleaned and for the price the hotel was a “keeper”.

Stayed for 3 nights. Everything about the hotel is elegant, from the rooms to the foyer. The place is so relaxing, with friendly and professional staff. The breakfast buffet has a huge selection, which set us nicely each day. We had cocktails in the American bar every evening around 6 with were always served with some lovely nibbles. Try not eat all of of them, if you're going out for dinner. We ate in the bistro attached to the hotel one evening, which has the same level of service as the hotel and the food was excellent. The hotel is so central, we walked to all the attractions we wanted to see in Turin. Next time we are in Turin, we will definitely stay here again.

We just took a taxi from the airport. There was a huge line available. I'm not sure where one would look to meet a pre-arranged car/driver, or if it would be much closer. But this is a question to ask the hotel about what they would charge for the pickup arrangements.

How far are you from the bus station where the bus from Malpensa airport stops?
Answer from KTBean
Boston, MA22 contributions41 helpful votes
It seems the Malpensa bus is run by Sadem. Check their route for specifics. Of their 2 stops in Turin, the closest to Sitea is in front of Porta Susa train station, which is 2.8 km from the hotel, a short taxi or 20+min walk. Hope this helps.
