The Diplomatic hotel is somewhat dated but it is clean and well kept. Breakfast was good, there was a good selection of cold, continental-breakfast foods and there were also hot eggs and sausages. Or room was serviced every day. Reception staff spoke good English which...More
First the positives. This hotel is very well located just a short walk from Porta Susa station and from the centre. It is good value for a modern city centre hotel, with a good modern bathroom and clean rooms. On the other hand, there was...More

The hotel does have a restaurant downstairs but we only had breakfast at it. For dinner, we walked about 10-15 minutes from the hotel to La Capannina, which had lots of pizza and pasta and was filled with locals. I thought it was reasonably priced (pizza was between 6 and 8 euro, if I'm remembering correctly) and everyone inside was cleaning their plates so I imagine everything was good! We opted for a pizza and it was delicious. I'd definitely recommend walking over there!
