Really nice hotel, not doubts luxury level and standard. -check-in rapid and efficient, kind staff .. -spacious and tastefully decorated rooms (modern/art deco type) However, it should be better.. in that category details are decisive .. spa only opens at 10:30 at weekends?? Not 2 coffee capsules in the room (suite) .. seems really rationalized .. All in all good hotel but value for money not ok
We had a very positive experience at this hotel, which is in a great location near the Egypt museum and the shops. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, and the breakfast was tasty. We appreciated the good gym in the hotel, which is hard to find in Europe and was important for us. The staff was friendly and helpful, and parking the car was easy. The only unpleasant incident was when we went to check out the gym after unpacking in our room and were scolded by a spa attendant for wearing our tennis shoes there. We were confused by her reaction, I think it might have been because we were dressed warm, ready to go out. She didn't show up again, and we enjoyed a long workout in the morning. Everyone else was very nice, so we think it was an isolated case. The gym could use some water, though - the cooler was empty when we were there.…
Stayed one night at Principi di Piemonte with my wife while visiting Turin first time. The hotel has superb location at downtown Turin. Everything is within walking distance. On arrival we were upgraded to junior suite. The room was superb. There is a spa downstairs that is definately worth the visit. Also they have valet service for our car (parking 41€/day). The employees are super friendly and the bartender was superb - he ”created” a vin brulee on our return from cold winter evening walk. I would have given them five stars - but the breakfast coffee charge (for cappucino) was little bit ”too much” (as we allready paid separately for breakfast).
A few days prior to our arrival the hotel called to say that due to a 'technical issue' our room may not be available until 8.30pm. When we arrived mid-afternoon it was evident that the 'technical issue' was that a major football team was staying at the hotel. Our taxi had to stop on the main street, rather than in front of the hotel and we had to negotiate our way to the door past fans, barriers, police, and a large bus. One of the staff quickly appeared to help us with our bags, but it started our stay off on a sour note - realising we hadn't been told the real reason for the issue with the room. It felt as though the reception staff were more focused on the activities of the football team and their entourage than they were on checking us in and, other than the spa being mentioned, we weren't given any other information - the time breakfast was served and where etc. We were offered compensation for the delay in our room being available - either an aperitif in the bar or a discounted room rate on the first night of our stay. We chose the latter. We were given our room keys just after 6.30pm. There were balls of dust on the floor, one of the lamps wasn't working, there was a coffee maker with paper espresso sized cups, but no kettle, tea bags, mugs/cups. Minibar. Plenty of hanging and storage space and a safe. Beds were comfortable and the linens were good quality. The bathroom was quite spacious with a good range of toiletries. It was quiet overnight. Breakfast was good: fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, breads, cakes and tarts, a really good range of cheeses and cold meats. We didn't eat any cooked items. The bar area had comfortable sofas, with very pleasant staff. Excellent range of spirits. We wouldn't stay here again. …
Super Classic semi Luxury. Great service at front desk. Rooms are super classic and could use an upgrade. The pillows were flat, the couch was old, dirty and outdated. Great location, many shops and restaurants in walking distance as well as the Egyptian museum. Hotel does not offer parking if you are renting a car. Small cosy bar with a nice small terrace for coffee and a bite. Overall, great location but over priced for the state and condition of the rooms.
My stay was fantastic. Felt luxurious, well looked after. Both check in and out was fast, informative, straight to the point. Large room, very clean, well equipped with all modern amenities. Location wise, can get a bit a noisy out there in the morning or night time, but I loved it, it felt part of its charm. Staff was great.
I had a lovely weekend stay. It was my first time in Turin and the location of the hotel was perfect. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Check in and check out were easy and quick. The room was large compared to many European hotels. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom had more than enough space. The hotel is within walking distance to so many restaurants. If you're a shopper, you're sure to love the proximity to many great shops. The area is very walkable. I felt safe from early morning to late night walking around. I would definitely stay here again should I return to Turin.
The best hotel in Torino. Excellent location, absolutely wonderful staff, so clean and friendly. From the great breakfast to afternoon”spretsy” you can really enjoy all the hotel services. What ever we asked for, the staff tried to help in so many ways.
The location is excellent, the hotel is 5 star plus....but the real asset of this hotel is its staff and their culture of service. From the front desk team, to the breakfast crew...to the evening bar under the guidance of excellent host Davido...every aspect of the hotel oozes customer service. We will return.
This hotel is exceptional. The hotel facilities are excellent, our suite is/was fabulous. What sets this hotel apart is the staff. ALL staff are beyond excellent...they are the heart of the hotel. I wish all 5 star hotels were as fabulous as this one!!!
