We stayed for three nights. Quiet. The room was spotlessly clean, as was the en-suite. The air-conditioning was very effective. There is a fridge in the room. Service was perfect. We would definitely stay here again...it helped make our visit to Turin so enjoyable.
Breakfast was very good, you can order a coffee in preference to the Americano.
The hotel is very well located, just at the Carducci stop on the Metro, 5 minutes on the train to the main station. There is a good takeaway pizza place, Aladin's, directly across the street. Plenty of cafés nearby.
Best restaurant: 'A Furchina, on Via Petrarca, near the Nizza metro stop. The food is delicious.
Torino Card : great value for 3 days' visit.

I arrived at the Hotel, slightly apprehensive on the looks from the outside, however on entering discovered how nice it was with a friendly welcome from the owner.
My room was fantastic just like I imagined a beautique hotel would be.
Breakfast was also superb, everything you could wish for.
I can only wish more Hotels had these standards.

Great value for the price hotel! Great service, clean room and bathroom, perfect air conditioning and wifi.
Although it is a few metro stops from downtown, the metro entrance is less than a block from hotel. Away from the tourist area, staying at The Smeraldo makes you feel like a local. Many cafés and restaurants nearby. Thanks to Cecilia and Simone for their help and kindness!

The staff was very courteous, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast was great, more than any other hostel hotel we stayed in. The rooms were very clean and the bed was great. The location was next to a Metro which made it easy to get around.

We, my wife, my stepdaughter and I, stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. It is located in Piazza Carducci, a large square to the south of the city center. At first appearance, it appears to be a big hotel in a big building, but in fact it is quite small, occupying three floors, including the ground floor in the corner of the big building. Nicely set up, clean and so on. Excellent, friendly personnel at the desk. Nice, small breakfast room with the standard, excellent breakfast food, some of which is baked in a tiny kitchen on the premises. The hotel has several parking spaces in the garage below the large building. Each parking space is enclosed and the enclosure is lockable. The charge for parking is 8 euros per night, well worth it.

We had a room on the 2nd (USA 3rd floor) that contained a matrimonial (queen-sized) bed and a single bed for my wife's daughter. Lovely enclosed balcony. Clean, modern bathroom in the room. Clothes storage space a bit limited, but that was not a problem.

Piazza Carducci has subway (underground, metropolitana) stop that is about 4 stops from Porta Nuova, the main subway station and also the tradition main train station. This is very convenient. The subway system in Turin is brand-new and superb, although its range is somewhat limited.

Really enjoyed a week-long stay here. Staff couldn't have been more helpful, breakfast was lovely with staff very happy to make you as many fresh cappuccinos as you like, family room was spacious and the wifi excellent. Great location, next to a metro station but within easy walking distance restaurants, gelateria shops and Lingotto shopping centre. Would definitely return, good value.

I truly enjoyed my time in Turin and Hotel Smeraldo is a big part of it. The location is excellent, a few steps from Carducci metro station and very safe. The moment I walked in I was greeted by the kind staff at the reception with a warm smile. They provide a useful map of Turin and if you need extra information, just ask Ramona. She is so lovely and will tel you all you want to know. The room was everything I expected, cozy, quiet and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was amazing with everything in perfect order. Breakfast is great too, with plenty of choice. I also had the pleasure of exchanging farewells with the hotel manager.
There are places you can't forget and Turin is one of them. And so is hotel Smeraldo. Upon leaving, I only wished I could come back. Take your time to relish the sophisticated elegance and charm of Turin. Don't miss out on Hotel Smeraldo. Outstanding value!

Location with metro at arm's lenght. Room nice and clean with nice balcony overlooking the piazza. However the shower is too small with no room for a decent shower. Staff is ok though I couldn't help wonder how one can prepare breakfast and be a receptionist at the same time. Btw breakfast is nothing to write home about. Room though nice is a bit too cold for my liking. Also staff need to understand not to make noises at 5.00 am cause normal people sleep at that hour...
