... of the guest next door, but they were too loud for comfort in this noisy hotel that only has its location going for it. One could forgive the lack of amenities and the ramshackle state of the furniture in a budget hotel, but at 90 Euros a night a good night's sleep in a decent bed shouldn't be an...

This was my first visit to Turin, and I particularly wanted to stay somewhere central. Piazza San Carlo is one of the city’s beautiful spaces, and the hotel is on the 4th floor of an elegant building overlooking the Piazza. My room was fairly basic, but clean and comfortable. Tall people might have a problem with the sloping ceiling, but...

We are considering how it is that we can schedule another trip back just to eat here. The food was the best we've had in our 5 years living and travelling in Europe. Every meal was beautiful. We took the package with food included as a result of the trip advisor feedback. We didn't regret it at all. The food...

I stayed at the San Carlo for 3 nights during the Turin Film Festival. This hotel is situated right in the centre of Turin, on the top floor of a beautiful period building. The location could not be any better. The room I stayed in was spacious and clean. The furniture was an eclectic mix - some lovely antiques and...

My husband and I stayed for 6 nights here. My husband was working each day while I enjoyed Turin. The room was very basic, but we had our own bathroom, and only used the room for sleeping! Amazing location and friendly staff. It was more like staying in an Italian apartment opposed to a hotel. Made for a fun trip!

I just stayed at Hotel San Carlo for two nights in room 2, which is one that uses the shared bathroom. The hotel was beautifully decorated with antique furniture and we had a very nice balcony that overlooked a small courtyard. The room had a faint smell of cigarette smoke, but otherwise, I have no complaints. We even had a...

Having made an online booking a month previously, I was not happy to discover that on arrival they had double booked my room. Even though I had opted to pay in advance, they were so incompetent that I still had no reservation. Suffice to say I was left to look for my own alternative accommodation and would suggest Le Petit...

We found San Carlo hotel late night, for just one night in Torino. And it turned out to be very good choice! Hotel is affordable, clean and at very good location. Piazza San Carlo is pedestrian area, so it's quite, with some nice and old caffes (they say that one of the oldest caffes in all Torino is located there)....

Stayed for a night in this hotel. The best thing about it is its location, which is stellar, as it is right in the middle of everything. Every location worth visiting is within walking distance, and it feels very safe at night, too. Staff manning the reception was very kind. Nonetheless, the cleanliness left much to be desired. I ended...
