Excellent hotel for our four-day stay. Very well managed with friendly smiling staff always on call. The room was clean and had every facility required. Great breakfast selection, especially the cakes ! The location was very near Turin's Motor Museum which was one of the attractions for us. There is a train station nearby which takes about 15 minutes to reach the centre of Turin and a tram line which takes a little longer but is more fun.
Our room was on the second floor, there was no lift, but it wasn't a big problem. I would describe the hotel as Budget range with above-Budget service. We'd go back without doubt.

I booked the hotel on-line for a two-night stay - checked in 1st February 2012. It's a bit far from down-town Turin - located at the last station of the metro. It's quite a long walk from the Lingotto subway station, about 5-10 minutes, but for me it was worth it. If you're travelling with a family, then I suggest you take the bus, or the taxi for less hassle ride. But then, I am not so sure if this hotel is suitable for a family visit. I arrived at about 2pm and checked in smoothly. No other customers at the lobby. It was just a simple lobby that served its purpose. I was needed to leave my passport at the counter for them to record my details. I picked it up a half an hour later when I went out again.
One important note is that if you are intending to use the metro, you need to check the closing time of the pedestrian bridge. The bridge connects the hotel neighbourhood with the metro area. The end of the bridge, where the metro is situated, is inside a mall. Maybe you need to ask the mall admin. One of the nights there, I got back at around 11.45pm and discovered the entrance (mall) to the bridge was already closed. Lucky for me, there was a Pakistani brother (Adnan Ali) who helped me to get across the train rails via a bus.

POSITIVE:
# clean room
# nice, clean bathroom
# secured, locked corridors
# quiet neighbourhood
# a few restaurants in 1-2 minutes walk

NEGATIVE;
# location a bit far from nearest metro
# no view
# staff with basic English
# small TV
# narrow bathroom

The hotel is very clean and nicely furnished. It takes approx 10 mins to get to the city centre by bus (the bus station is just right around the corner). Staff is very friendly and also the breakfast buffet serves all you need.

The hotel is definitely a great choice to stay at in Torino.

We stayed here for one night as we attended a concert at the Pala Alpitour stadium and the hotel was perfect for our needs. We reached it by taking the metro to Lingotto station and walking through the shopping mall and over the footbridge. On our return journey we took the train from the Lingotto train station (different to metro) as we found that was easier to get to and cost the same.

It was a short walk to the stadium and the neighbourhood was very quiet. There was a supermarket a few blocks away which we were able to buy snacks and drinks in. The hotel itself was comfortable and quiet and the staff were friendly. They do offer breakfast (I believe you pay) but we left too early to try this so can't comment on it.

It is a 6 minute train journey from Porta Nuovo where the airport bus goes to and there are lots of shops/sights near there so I didn't feel it was too far out to enjoy the city if you don't mind trains/metros/trams etc. I would probably stay here again.

Having no choice but to book this hotel due to its vicinity to the Stadio Olimpico where a rock concert was taking place and due to other hotels close-by being fully booked, this hotel took advantage of the situation and charged us a ridiculous €685 for a 4 night stay in one twin room in July!

Definitely not worth the price for a 2 star hotel! A lesson for others to book early and shop around and don't let this hotel take advantage!

The price charged was definitely way over the top.

The rock concert was super amazing though 🙂

This hotel is quite far out but the centre of Turin is accessible from the Tram 4 at Montevideo a stop about 5 minutes walk from hotel. I chose this hotel because it offered parking and we were able to park on the street outside the hotel. The hotel is small but our room was spotless and we had a balcony. The bathroom was good and there was a hairdrier. Breakfast at €5 a head was excellent value. The staff are charming and helpful.

This two-stars hotel is really nice and clean. You can feel at home with their homemade breakfast. Even if you can't have lunch or dinner here, there are a lot of restaurants or pizza houses around. Trust the pictures on website.

Booked into this hotel due to its affordable rates and locality not far from the Conference Centre. Located across the railway lines in suburban Torino it is a bit of a walk to the subway station Lingotto, but was conveniently situated to the conference and shopping centre with a food court. Breakfast is typical continental with nice coffee and very friendly staff. The hotel is neat and from the entrance presents a feeling that it is well looked after. The pizzeria, bar and ice cream shop is around the corner and after a week we got to know the locals. Old style rooms are very spacious and clean. This is really a quaint hotel away from the hustle and bustle across a well kept park.

We chose this hotel for its proximity to the Slow Food Festival - which was walking distance away.
The rooms are clean and tidy. The hotel served us well as a base for the Festival, that was a good price and location. Easy to get a bus to the centre of Turin.

We were there in July so not quite sure about heating. Best to ask the hotel directly. Be careful of their rates if you don't want to get ripped off!

Mi spiace nn so dove sia il Palalpitour. Noi ci siamo andati perche' era ad 1,5 km dalla piscina (quella di fronte allo stadio), ma se la distanza e' simile....direi che e' possibile.
