Just finished up a 2-night visit at the hotel. One of the better stays I have had in awhile. Rooms are very quite spacious with 4+ meter high ceilings and a huge bathroom. The building itself is very cool and the location is literally inside the old Fiat factory just across from Eataly and the Green Pea mall. Staff are very friendly and good — esp Rosella at the reataurant! Breakfast has a large selection which is all of good quality. Coffee was of course very good! Little tricky to find the parking but its right off the circle as you enter the area from the long underground entrance road. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel's Favourite
We spent 3 nights in this beautifully designed hotel, which is easy to reach by car (and free parking provided on site) and by public transport (metro station to center of Turin is about 5-10 minutes walking away). The hotel is connected to the old Fiat factories that have been beautifully renovated and filled with a shopping mall and offices, as well as a nice small art gallery of the Agnelli family (free visit included in hotel stay). Opposite the hotel are a large Eataly and a nice new sustainability-focused shopping mall called Green Pea. Being Hilton Honors Gold members, we were upgraded to a very nice room on the top floor with great view of the racetrack on top of the old Fiat factory. The room itself was beautifully designed in an industrial style, with very high ceilings and windows, and was also very spacious, comfortable and clean. Service was good, friendly and professional by all staff. The breakfast was a bit unusual due to the Covid measures, but still in buffet style and with a good choice of foods and drinks. The hotel also has a small gym with cardio machines as well as weights, which was well maintained and kept very clean. We would definitely consider staying here again when next in Torino.

Being Hilton Honors members, we naturally chose this place to stay. Very fancy and clever architecture at this hotel given how it was repurposed from a former Fiat factory. Lingotto, whilst not in the heart of the city, was still quite easy to get around from either Spezia or Lingotto train station. We also ride the bus no. 8 a few times from the city centre back to the hotel. Also we liked how it was near to the very first Eataly grocer, and we definitely spent a fair amount of time shopping and eating there. Very friendly and respectful hotel staff - overall we had a pleasant stay.

This hotel is stunning: having the whole building (the famous Lingotto of Turin which used to house the former FIAT factory) being completely redesigned by architect Renzo Piano (Kansai Airport of Osaka), the interior is extraordinary. Ceilings are extremely high, in both the rooms and the breakfast area. The windows are immense, allowing for plenty of light to get into the room - do not worry, they also have very well working blackout blinds! The comfort of the beds are great and so is the breakfast, which offers a wide choice well beyond what they used to offer in Italy, i.e. only sweet food. To round it all up is the staff, which is delightful and goes out of their way to help, and I am talking about ALL the staff, at reception, at the breakfast lounge and room claning personnel. Last but not least, a large supermarket is around the corner as well as a large shopping mall. The subway is a 7-8 minutes walk away. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Turin.

Turin is the home of the mighty Lavazza Coffee Company, and of the Lavazza Museum. Turin invented the greatest coffee drink in history, the Bicerin: espresso, hot chocolate, and whipped cream. Yet, despite all this, the DoubleTree By Hilton Turin Lingotto only has powdered Nescafe (a Swiss company) instant coffee in the rooms. Please tell me how insane that is. That having been said, this hotel is very nice and the staff is accommodating and friendly. The neighborhood leaves much to be desired. But for where it is, this is a very good hotel. Except for the coffee thing. And what is more important in the morning in your hotel room than coffee?

Came to Turin for business with my manager and I couldn't have chosen a better location, facility and overall stay for a comparable price. Staff was friendly, yet very professional. Rooms very efficient and spotless. Breakfast delicious and with plenty of choices. Probably not the easiest choice for people coming to visit downtown Turin, although the subway station is very close, as it is the interesting complex of Lingotto, with fantastic views of the Alps. If I come again to Turin, I will definitely stay here again.

Large modern hotel. Part of the old FIAT complex in Lingotto, south of Turin city centre. It is next to the building with the race track on the roof which featured in the first Italian Job movie. The metro takes 8 minutes from Lingotto station to Porta Nuova. We had two great seafood meals at Il Giglio, on Via Domenica in town. There is ample free parking to the front and side of the hotel. The lady who checked us in was excellent. The public areas, in the atrium, are impressive. The rooms are big. Double height. With a large window from floor to ceiling. The bathroom is big. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The shower is big, but the water pressure is only moderate. There is a fridge and a safe in the room. Soundproofing is good. The beds are comfortable with two large soft pillows. And still……. Despite all of the above and the obvious investment, they really skimped on the AC. There is a system. But it is useless. It seemed to cool the room a bit on the day we arrived. But we could not set the temperature. That night, while we were asleep, the room heated up. The AC either switched off or switched to heat. Either way, our sleep was interrupted. The following night, we switched the AC off and opened the window. We slept soundly. Verdict: despite all of the positives, I would not stay here again. A four star hotel should have an effective AC system.

Spent 4 nights at the Double tree lingotto, from the moment we walked in we were greeted by Francesca with warmest welcome! She promptly checked us in, gave us a lot of advice on where to go, the best restaurants around even gifted us with a guide book of Turin. She is definitely an asset to the hotel! Thank you for your hospitality Francesca! The breakfast had a nice selection and food was delicious! Please do visit the restaurant as I have had the best pasta in Turin there ! Also have to mention Simone from the restaurant, he made us amazing amaretto sours! The whole experience was magnificent! Thank you all! Can not wait to come back

when i am unfamiliar with a city i always pick Hilton. this is a lovely hotel actually attached to the Lingotto mall. this is the former Fiat site where they famously ran the cars down and filmed the Italian connection. No more racing in the mall. the views from the hotel are lovely. this hotel makes Hilton proud.

We had a lovely 5 night stay in this very well presented hotel. All the staff we met very friendly and helpful. A nice touch was a welcome cookie on our arrival. The rooms we very large and very high. The height obviously from being a repurposed Fiat factory. We had everything we needed; a fridge, kettle, hairdryer, ironing board, safe and a massive 50in tv. Although the hotel was quite a way from the city centre there was a Metro close. A ticket for 3.80 Euro would all you to travel underground and on buses and trams all day. One of the highlights of the hotel is the old Fiat test track on the roof. Coincidently this is where one of the famous scenes from The Italian Job was filmed. There was a Picasso and Mattise gallery showing original art at the time we visited. I have nothing bad to say about the Lingotto.
