An old-building that is well-refurbished and well placed. Good amenities and classic elevator. Nice rooms with high ceilings and very clean. Vintage moquette in the hallways. Well placed within easy reach of the river and Piazza San Carlo

Hotel Alpi is ok. Nothing special. Rooms clean. Bathroom tiny but clean. Well located near the river Po. Is 35 euro in a taxi from the airport. However hotel is not ideally located if you want to be near the train station on the other side of town. Mediocre continental breakfast. Not worth getting up for unless you just want to make sure you're not hungry till lunchtime. Probably the same in all hotels in Turin I would guess so not a particular complaint towards the hotel. City has stunning architecture and is beautiful by day and night. Very clean, safe and green and easy to navigate on foot or bicycle as well laid out. Not much traffic. The city is romantic and very Italian and not overcrowded. However for me this city has no soul, no vibrancy, no passion, no heart beat. In addition the food is awful. Being in Italy you would think you could easily find some good pizza or risotto (didn't try any pasta) on any street corner, you'd be wrong. Every meal or snack or appertivos I had were bland and tasteless and hugely disappointing. Even the cheese and pesto sauces at the market was nothing to get excited about. Have had far better food in any Carluccio's (He's from Turin apparently) or Strada in London. This was hugely disappointing for me as Turin is marketed as being for foodies. I hugely disagree. The fashion here is boring also although if you like big designer names then it might cater to your tastes. No hip boutiques that's for sure. Come for the architecture and history, enjoy the fresh air and bring a romantic partner. Do have an expresso though. That's a safe bet.

This is a great value hotel in a fabulous location! Rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. Great breakfast we had forgotten to book a parking space but Gabrielle was very helpful and managed to resolve the problem even though the car park was full! The only issue was that due to building work in the parking area there was a bit of debris around and we ended up with a flat tyre!

The poor experience starts with having to pour yourself into a tiny, antiquated lift that barely fits yourself & luggage. Then, run the gauntlet of an unfriendly, fractious reception staff, before having to trudge along ancient carpeted hallways, like a cross between The Shining and Fawlty Towers. Following that, you need to lug your heavy suitcase up 2 flights of stairs (not even a vintage lift available), to end up in your charmless room, from which the AC remote has been removed so you can’t make yourself comfortable. Also, no kettle, no teabags etc., one measly plastic cup. The bathroom is really tiny, many will struggle to straddle the commode! The tap was almost falling off the shower. Location is far from centre and next to noisy expressway. Avoid.

Excellent central location, spacious and clean rooms, possibility of parking. But the rest... The old wooden windows don't close well and you can hear all the nightlife noises from the street. Breakfast just enough. Tetris parking. On the phone they offer us an alternative apartment for the price of two rooms and free breakfast, they say it would not be included with the apartment. But when we arrive we see that the apartment has a kitchen shared with other strangers and a broken fridge. How could we prepare breakfast in common? In practice we had one bathroom less than two bedrooms. But the worst thing is the woman at the reception, the tall blonde one, I hope she is not the owner. Aggressive, rude, and incompetent. Never seen worse

Bit of a late review, but stayed in hotel Alpi resort for 2 nights. The massive plus of this hotel was its location. The river Po is nearby, the viewpoint of Monte Dei Cappucini wasn’t far from the hotel either. On the other hand, the rooms were a bit outdated, no coffee/tea facilities and no fridge for drinks or food. Breakfast wasn’t great as some items weren’t available e.g necessities such as butter, milk for tea etc. Overall good hotel if you want the perk of location, not great for maybe more than a night.

This was truly one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. The first surprise was the parking: really tiny and difficult to manoeuvre. At an old building like that, it was understandable. The first bad surprise was the receptionist. Despite my parking reservation, she said she didn't have it but she would do us a favour and let us park there. Well, I had my reservation request with the hotel confirmation... After having to climb some stairs with our baggage, we had our second bad surprise: our room was really small. The bathroom was tiny, with a smell of mold. Some items were broken (the shower holder, the toilet paper holder)
When we were leaving the room, we noticed the receptionist didn't give us the room key. When we asked her if we could have it, she said she didn't know where it was, but that the cleaning lady had probably taken it. We didn't want to leave all our belongings in the room if the key was missing. We asked if the hotel would be responsible for them. And if the receptionist was not very polite before, she was then very rude and began to shout at us, saying that she'd never heard guests complaining about not having the room key (!!!) and that we'd have to leave it anyway at the reception if we left the hotel We surely would, but the problem was not knowing where it was. Anyway, I think that there is better ways to handle situations like this than to shout and being rude to guests. At the end, she just told us that there was no key and nothing else could be done about it. Somebody would open the room for us when we were back. Unfortunately, we couldn't leave that place after such a lack of professionalism and politeness. At least, it was just for one night.
Wi-fi didn't work anywhere. The receptionist told us that we should be doing something wrong as internet was working and some other guests were using it. We asked a couple of people and they said they couldn't get any internet connexion. The receptionist just ignored what was said and began to speak italian to a colleague, not in a very friendly way.
There was no sound isolation in the room. We could hear people walking, talking, the TV of other rooms. Not a good night sleep at all. The only thing we had in mind was to go away from there very early in the morning.
Breakfast is very poor. The glasses were in plastic. Apart its central location, there is nothing good to be told about this hotel. I'm sure we can find better ones at this area.

Unfortunately we didn't have a very good stay. We arrived to be told that we couldn't park under the hotel as we hadn't pre-booked a space (perhaps this was our fault) so we had to park up the road. We had to carry our bags up to the 3rd floor as the lift was being used by workmen. Our room was only a couple of meters away from the reception desk which meant we could hear other customers until quite late. We went to go for breakfast in the morning to be told that we would have to wait for 15 minutes as the breakfast room was full of customers, breakfast itself was poor. On the plus side the lady who served us breakfast was very friendly and the location was ideal for walking to the centre.

Perhaps we were just unlucky as the other reviews suggest the hotel was nice.

This hotel is obviously a converted apartment building floor - located on the third floor with an indirect entrance. It was not what I expected- the location was good but they failed to inform us that parking was only available if you made a reservation for it ahead of time and it costs additionally. So we had to park 2 blocks away in a public parking deck. I was not greeted well- the female receptionist was rude, pedantic and less than accommodating. I had good reviews from others on tripadvisor but I would not rate this one very highly.

I stayed in this hotel only one night and was a really bad customer experience. The staff is really rude (specially the lady) and in the night we had to wait for them to open the door for at least 30 min.
