High ceilings with stucco details, crystal light fixtures and solid wood furniture. Views overlooking the hotel park with loungers and a kiosk, the rose garden, the full moon. When dense ivy grows around windows and room names tell 800-year-old stories, a night in one of the 72 rooms or ten suites is sure to be excellent and the morning wonderful.

Hotel was excellent. The hotel bar was great with a roaring fire, great drinks and snacks with lovely attentive staff. Located within a few minutes walk of the square and if you travelling by train it is close to the station.

Highly recommend this property, we only stayed one night, but I was wishing we were there longer. Updated room, extremely clean, well thought out, everything you could possibly need to recharge your batteries. Comfy bed, real blowdryer, an area to stretch a weary traveler’s body, robes and more! Highly recommend!

This was the most magical place we have ever stayed. In fact, we extended our stay by two days because it was just that wonderful. For fans of Wes Anderson, the thoughtful, beautiful design will make you feel like you are starring in one of his films. The pool and sauna are a delight, whether it’s sunny or rainy out. The yoga and wellness classes were incredibly special and relaxing - special thanks to Arianna! The breakfast was perfection. The views, the South Tyrolean birdsong, aperitivos in the garden, a burrata salad that will change your life, the mountain herb tea- I could go on! Everyone was so kind and helpful, and we are already looking forward to a return!

Stayed 4 nights. Well located a short walk from the railway station, the main square, the cable car, and all main attractions in the city center. Located on a small street with little traffic, which minimizes outside noise since the hotel itself offers no soundproofing (one can clearly hear conversations in the next room).
The hotel was a mixed bag. Overall pretty decent, but with multiple annoyances that could be easily fixed to make a guest’s stay a lot more enjoyable.
There are some steps at the entrance, fortunately with a ramp for luggage. The narrow double front door is not automatic and it’s quite inconvenient with luggage, since there is little space between the two doors. In the hallway on the third floor there are six steep steps without a ramp for luggage.
The room was reasonably spacious The decor was not the most welcoming (dorm- or barracks-style). The bed was comfortable, while the pillows were way too soft and flattened like pancakes. There was a desk area, but no chair, only an ottoman. Sufficient number of power outlets.
The bathroom was very narrow. The sink was so tiny that it was impossible to wash one’s face without getting the floor wet. There was minimal shelf space and only one hook, located above the toilet and already occupied by the hair dryer bag. The usual hook on the bathroom door was not there. The shower had a curtain that didn’t reach the bottom and left a gap, resulting in the floor getting wet while showering. Water pressure was very good.
One night there were two false fire alarms, triggered by Christmas decorations! The ear-piercing sound lasted over 10 minutes before it was finally turned off.
Average wifi.

Absolutely dreadful as this hotel has NO TWIN ROOMS forcing guests to sleep in a double bed. A disaster for older couples and anyone with a sleep disorder requiring a separate bed. Despite our booking being for a twin bed room we were told on arrival that since the renovation that was a while ago the hotel had no twin bed rooms. Only rooms with double beds. Unbelievable and certainly not inline with what other hotels offer.

Then when we asked about the Bolzano tourist card we were told that we would need to organise that card through the tourist information centre. BUT Low and behold when we arrived at the tourist information centre and asked for a card we were advised that the card must be provided by our hotel. Obviously the hotel didn’t want to bother with having to issue this card so it just fobbed us off telling us to go to the tourist information centre. NOT GOOD and raises issues related to credibility.

Really nice hotel. I have to say that the interior of the room didn’t catch me like I was expecting considering the price. Bar and breakfast are great deals. The bathroom is really nice and cozy but the shower is too tight between the glass.

Helpful hotel staff arranged a comfortable room for our return visit. A lovely place to rest and relax with a beautiful garden and delicious food and service at Tree Brasserie.

Would be even more comfortable if option for firm pillows is possible.

Great location, quiet setting, friendly helpful staff, delicious breakfast in beautiful calm garden, and free bicycles (good to reserve in advance). Easy stroll to shops, restaurants, and sights in historic core of Bolzano. Short drive to lifts into the spectacular Dolomites. Discounted, very convenient parking.

Room Tip: Ask for a shower with a curb. The few rooms with curb-less showers tend to leak.

Great Hotel that has been carefully updated, not losong its former charm, but neither overdoing nostalgia. Lively, comfy bar as the centre of the hotel witj great cocktails, friendly service and a good selection of bites. Big, elegant rooms and great garden. Sauna, Fitness, Yoga-Studio to round it all off and great location in Bozen.

Excellent hotel. Lovely rooms and lovely staff. We had breakfast in the garden every day. The food was lovely and the hotel was not far from the train station and the new bus station. The shower was lively snd warm and the view spectacular. We’ll definitely go again.
