Seriously, who writes these positive reviews, to which we were led? Only two women were friendly at the reception. And one guy who is a young waiter with a beard! Men waiters in the restaurant have face like they want to kill you!!! Disgusting. Dinner they bring delicious and beautifully served. Breakfast is terrible, nothing is hot. Cleaning woman with...

The most friendly and welcoming staff I have ever met. Hotel standard is ok but you will be blown away by the service and food. Enjoyed a plate of melon and ham and a steak so rear and tender it melted in my mouth.

This is a quiet, beautifully maintained property in Meran's villa district, about a 15 minute walk from the center and thermal spa (Therme). The tranquil garden setting is just lovely; abundant flowers are blooming all over the property. Our room was comfortable and tastefully furnished, with beautiful, gleaming wood. The a/c functioned well and was most welcome in the hot...

4 nights were not nearly enough in this so relaxing hotel. Why ?...everything is done properly! Not a regular thing in the hospitality trade irrespective of location. So this is German speaking Italy up towards the Brenner pass. ..majority of guests indeed are German and they are discerning customers. Meals to a very high standard and on half board terms...

Just returned from a week's stay at this lovely hotel. The hotel is ideally positioned a short distance away from the town centre. You can get a bus into the town if you wish but we enjoyed the walk. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was also delicious. Rooms were clean, comfortable and had everything you could...

If you visit the South Tyrol you will want to go to Meran and you will find it hard to improve on this hotel as a place to stay. It is in a quiet garden quarter and a pleasant 10 minute walk from the town centre. I can't think why anyone would want to stay there unless they wanted to...

Lovely hotel fairly close to the city. We walked for about 15 minutes to get to restaurants in the city. The hotel had a lovely pool, it was very clean, would definitely stay here again. Breakfast was great. Set in lovely grounds.

To say that this hotel has not changed for 40 years would not do it justice. It has been updated (certainly more than once), but retains its charm, peacfulness and quite elegance. The owner leads by example and the staff tries to read your mind! More helpful is not possible! The customers are "older" and the rooms decor fits their...

We stayed here for a week in July (family of four) and had a great time. The hotel itself is really nice. No complaints at all. Breakfast is good - you can have cappucino, or espresso rather than the usual plain coffee or tea, if you ask. Dinner is several courses, mostly very good indeed. We were half board, but...
