Receptionist was rude within the first minute of arrival. There was some mis-communication with our booking regarding persons per room, and whilst we tried to explain that we had no problem with paying more, the proprietor immediately got aggressive with us and proceeding to insult including called us arrogant! 'Prepotenti' Breakfast was very poor with no eggs or warm food... More

I'm aghast at some of the negative reviews this hotel has received, and it's a very good demonstration of why caution is required when choosing based on trip advisor rating. The hotel doesn't have wifi in the rooms, doesn't have much of a bar and doesn't have a restaurant (except for breakfast). So if any of these things bother you,... More

Let me start off saying that I am in no way, shape or form a picky person but this hotel was so awful I had to leave a review. Every year the company I work for stays at this hotel to ski/snowboard Mt. Blanc and this year I joined to check things out and did not like what I found.... More

Great location - 4 min walk to the gondola, 10 min walk into the town centre. Located in a quiet, rustic residential area. Basic room but clean and comfortable enough. Free parking, free wi-fi. Buffet breakfast was adequate (bread/jam/cheese/meat/cereal/yoghurt/fruit). Nice staff, and resident soppy dog. Good price and perfect for ski weekends.

Situated in tiny old hamlet a few hundred metres walk from ski lifts and about 1 kilometre from Courmayeur village centre. We had a family room for 4 with mezzanine for 2 single beds. Basic but clean and family run hotel. Bar area pleasant for a relax in the evening for drinks and games. The wifi is only available in... More

We got the worst room of the hotel, I believe, with no daylight, seen that the window is very close to the neighbor house. When trying to change the room the very grumpy answer we got was that the hotel was fully booked and that that they had the right to sell this room. We were very upset, seen that... More

We just enjoyed a mini-ski break at Hotel Ottoz. We had the most fantastic duplex family room which was a spotless as the rest of the hotel. Hotel Ottoz is a minute walk through the most beautiful cobbled street to The Dolonne lift. Breakfast was more than plentiful. The staff, family and receptionist couldn't have been kinder or more helpful.... More

We are so thankful to the family that run this superb hotel. Everything you could wish for. Spectacular location. First class, comfortable room with a beautiful view. All done at a most reasonable rate for Courmayer. We would certainly love to return. We were only planning to spend one night here and ended up booking three.

The hotel is close to the main (Dolonne) lift and has car parking, ski room and a pleasant bar and communal seating space. The WIFI is free although only accessible in the bar / reception area. Staff are friendly and helpful, making reservations for restaurants etc. I visited with my 20 year old son for a short ski trip. We... More
