We stayed one night at The Walser before embarking on a TMB adventure. Highlights were the smart and homely communal areas, decent showers in the rooms, central but quiet location, excellent breakfast and fantastic, helpful staff. An excellent base for Courmayeur and highly recommended.

It is a good hotel but near town centre so you probably need a bus to reach the lifts. We were there in summer so not sure about local ski situation.
