we have used the Lanterna B&B as a base for our holidays in Veneto. Nice family and once more happy eighteen anniversary to the daughter. Quiet place and comfortable good breakfast. Just at the entrance of Padova and close to the motorway exit/entry. Very convenient

I stayed in this B&B with my parents for 2 nights and we absolutely loved this place! The hosts were very nice and friendly, provided us with everything we needed, gave directions and city info for Padova and Venice. Room was stunning, very comfortable bed and sofa, good quality kitchen and bathroom, everything looks new and clean. Breakfast was also...

1 Italian lady + 1 Irish man + La Lanterna\Padova = a wonderful experience. Jump on the tram outside main train\bus station and 15 minutes later arrive at above B and B. We had a beautiful, bright, clean apartment with the nicest hosts we ever met. Silvia and Gianmarco gave us the inside scoop on Padova and we discovered a...

We received a very warm welcome from the hostess, Silvia who went on to provide us with extensive insider information about Padua and Venice – on restaurants, drinks, how best to get where and how, etc. The Spritz and piadina tip, for example, turned out to be fantastic ;-) The house and our room had a modern chic design that...

Silvia, is the best hostess ever, she could not have been more gracious or helpful in planning our stay in Padua. The house is absolutely beautiful, and well placed, very near a tram that services the town and train station, and yet placed perfectly in a quiet neighborhood. Her breakfast feast was unbeatable and the rooms were stunning. There is...

This is not an 'upgraded hostel' but a wonderful B&B run by seemingly the nicest people on the planet. The apartment was clean, well appointed and nicely sized. The bed was comfy, the apartment has good air conditioning, and the breakfast was super! It is well placed for tram routes to the Centre of Padua and the Autostrada is about...

La Lanterna feels like staying with a friend during your time away from home, as they're equally as excited & eager for your vacation as you are. While the host family is very friendly & welcoming, they understand you have plans for your holiday and offer assistance to plan travels without seeming pushy or intrusive. We thoroughly enjoyed our elaborate...

Friendly host. All you need is available, however some things come at additional charge (parking, usage of the refrigirator (no mini-bar in the room)). Location is ok for people with a car. Short distance if you want to visit Venice. The double room is relatively small, bathroom has no real ventilation therefore towels remain humid (you can open a small...

Dear AP, I'm Silvia, I am the one who welcomed you at our B&B. I just finished to read your review on us and I must says it hurts me. I will replay to all your enquiries starting from your last one: 1. During sunshine afternoons our clients often are happier to check inn in the garden terrace where they...

This B&B is absolutely wonderful and highly recommended! We stayed here for 7 days in June 2014(06/12/14 – 06/19/14) and the experience was excellent! The family made us feel at home. We arrived tired and hungry and Gianmarco offered to drive us to a great seafood restaurant. It was so nice to see Francesca’s (such a wonderful young lady) smiley...
