We would definitely reccomend hotel Palazzo Veneziano. Great location, peaceful and only 10 minutes from Accademia. Lots of good restaurants, cichetteria, vaporetto stop nearby. Staff was very helpful, great breakfast buffet, room very clean, big bathroom. Also, don't miss to drink coctail at the hotel bar. The bartender is the best in town.

Hotel's Favourite
Thank you to the team at the Palazzo Veneziano for an amazing stay. The hotel, room, facilities, breakfast options and service surpassed all expectations. The trip was a special occasion for my wife and I, to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. I did a lot of research and read numerous TripAdvisor reviews, which kept leading me back to the Palazzo Veneziano and eventually to booking a honeymoon suite - the jet tub on the mezzanine floor was very spacious and relaxing. We arrived into Marco Polo airport and booked a water taxi. Whilst you can turn up on the day and get one, you may have to wait and you will pay a little bit extra. The only criticism of the hotel I have is that they quoted €215 for a one way water taxi from the airport to the hotel. I researched and read other reviews and booked using moto scafi venezia who charged €129. No issue with their service, they were waiting and the trip was smooth. I did query with the hotel why the higher quote and they confirmed for their trip you were taken by car from the airport to the water taxi terminal, but it's less than 10 minutes to walk and the majority has a travelator. They would also meet you with a bell boy to carry your cases, but again you're dropped off outside and it's a 1 minute walk to the hotel from the water taxi stop. On to the many positives.... The location of the hotel is fantastic. Its on the waterfront, at the south of the city offering superb views of Venezian life with a number of decent and affordable restaurants and bars offerings Cicchetti (Cantine del Vino Già Schiavi is within a 5 minute walk). We arrived on a Thursday and enjoyed the fact it was slightly quieter than the more touristy parts of Venice (Rialto etc). It did get busier on Saturday but that's to be expected. A big positive it that it's so easy to get to any of Venice by either Water bus or on foot - St Mark's square is 20 minutes by google maps, Accademia Bridge 10 mins, Campo Santa Margherita 12-15 mins). The breakfast options were plentiful and there seemed to be no limitations on how many times you could help yourself. Options included Cereals, Pastries, cold meats and cheeses, cooked breakfasts (scrambled egg, bacon, sausage etc) and even Prosecco! The staff on service were incredibly attentive. A knife was dropped and before we'd sat upright having picked it up from the floor a clean, replacement knife was presented to us. Very slick and professional. The bed is very comfy, the showers offer a decent pressure and temperature and if you have a jet tub, it was incredibly relaxing. The curtains are such good quality they black out the sunlight very well in the morning, and waking up to the bells of a local church is just lovely. It truly was a wonderful stay. We will recommend the hotel and the location to all our family and friends. Thank you to the team at the Palazzo Veneziano p.s. a few hints/tips for your stay in Venice: 1. Don't waste your money or time visiting Harry's Bar. €22 for a poorly made Bellini and €26 for an equally bad Old Fashioned, plus rude staff meant it was a massive disappointment. I should have read the TA reviews which mostly say the same thing. 2. If it's sunny €60-70 for a bottle of wine in St Mark's Square was much better value than Harry's Bar. The live music, the people watching and overall experience just much more incredible. 3. Head down the side canals to find a Gondolier, normally advertising with a cardboard sign. €80 for 35-40 minutes was great value and an even better experience, going around the smaller canals before coming out right next the Rialto Bridge. We found our trip near La Fenice Opera House.

Dear G3092VRjamess, At first thank you very much to have choosen our property to celebrate this very important occasion and to share your experince with us! We would like to clarify that our private services by water taxi from the airport include a meet and greet outside the luggage claim area when you arrive, inside the airport - car transfer to the water gate Darsena where to catch the water taxi and luggage assistance and last but not least wooden luxury boats instead of a simply white standard water taxi. This is our idea of complete private transfer service from the airport :) We're truly glad to read that you fully enjoyed your stay at Palazzo Veneziano and thank you for pointing the beauty of the room, our good locaton, the kindness of the staff and the quality of our breakfast. Reviews like yours are priceless andyour opinion is very important for us, this is the reason why we took a good note about your suggestion and we inform that our aim is to make our guest's experiences unforgettable. Thank you for choosing our structure among many others , to recommend it and we hope to welcome you back again soon. Always at yur full disposal. Best wishes, Omar Anoè Front Desk Agent

Absolutely loved the Palazzo Veneziano! The staff were welcoming and friendly, room was perfect. We stayed in a 5th floor room with balcony and jacuzzi, it was the perfect spot and really made our first Venice trip perfect. Breakfast was tasty and offered a variety including delicious fresh juices and great coffee! Location is also great, an easy 20min walk from the train station, plenty of food options and a super market close by and of course fantastic views right on the water. We would recommend!

Do not “Pay in Advance” they will give your room away & not reimburse you if you arrive past midnight which is what happened to me. My Flight was delayed due to weather but I booked another flgiht to make it in time past midnight. (*jerk) Manager told me in morning that I needed to book a new reservation bc they gave my room away. To this day I am distraught by this. Front desk in general was not friendly & no remorse pocketing my $1600! I had to rebook at the Experimental Hotel nearby. They were very nice and felt bad for me so gave me a discount.

I visited Palazzo Veneziano for a two night stay and the experience was great! The staff all around was friendly and very helpful. They even helped me book transportation from and to the airport. The hotel is a little far away from the hustle and bustle of Venice, which may be a non issue depending on who you are. It makes it easier to get to the hotel from the airport and leave upon check out in my opinion. It was a rainy few days during my visit, but the front desk offers umbrellas you can borrow and return for the day. Also, my flight wasn’t until later in the afternoon after check out and they stored our luggage until it was time for us to depart for the airport, which was very helpful! Our hotel room was the honeymoon suite, and it was a beautiful room. The bathroom is filled with marble, with a nice sized shower. I really like the chromotherapy lights in the shower too, it was a nice added touch. The bed was comfortable and the perfect place to lay after walking throughout Venice. The jetted jacuzzi tub in the room upstairs was large and is a great place to relax. Overall, I would stay here again for future visits to Venice. The staff, room, service, everything is top notch! I want to give a special shout out to Anna who answered all questions I had and was very responsive via email. The team there is amazing!

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful hotel 3 nights to celebrate our 8th year wedding Anniversary in Venice, Italy. We checked in on February 5th, and we booked the Honeymoon suite, our suite had 2 levels, 2 bathrooms, with a jacuzzi. Our hotel room was very spacious, with very modern decor, the rooms are extremely stunning, clean, and the entire hotel looks new. The staff are very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable about tours, restaurants and the hotel was located in a very nice, quiet area in walking distance to all the attractions and city center. The walk to tge center was very romantic and scenic. The hitel is also 2 minute walk to water taxi and it'a easy to reach hotel from the airport. We loved everything about this hotel, 5 stars isn't enough, it deserves 10 stars or more. We will definitely stay here again and I highly recommend booking at Palazzo Veneziano. I'm telling all my friends about the hotel.

Very nice experience. Lovely hotel. A bit far from the touristy area (25 minute walk to San Marco), which can be a benefit based on your preference. Plus, a nice varied breakfast. One star removed given less than cordial check in and check out experience. Though, a big shout out to Romana who was by far the best concierge behind the front desk and made our stay special.

Palazzo Veneziano is an excellent hotel in a quiet area with many restaurants and bistrots at walking distance. The ferry S. Basilio (the one that goes to San Marco and the Railway Station) is at few steps and so is a very useful supermarket. The breakfast offers a wide choice of good food; nothing typically Venetian though (being Carnival time, I'd have appreciated some 'fritole') and the kind staff is always smiling and efficient; as well the two guys who welcomed us at the reception. The room was clean and well furnished (The contemporary design of the Murano's chandelier is jaw-dropping !). The bathroom was spacey and elegant but the shower tray might be slippery. Unfortunately, I needed to watch a tv show because of my job but the television signal (RAI first channel) in my room was very poor.
