We had the canal sweet, the room was amazing staff was really helpful! We would stay here again! Highly recommended, we were only there for one night and wish we could have stayed longer after we checked in. Such a beautiful room and wonder experience
Palazzo Veneziano. Beautiful right sized hotel on the waterfront Giudecca Canal. Big enough to have staff cover your needs, small enough to feel cozy, with an interior open air courtyard to relax in. Kept immaculately clean, beds and room cleaning excellent. Staff is very friendly, outrageously competent, and slightly more formal than a visitor from the States might be used to. But it’s nice to treated like that, as opposed to hearing “the 5 things you must say to a customer” from some corporate 3 hour training session. In particular I enjoyed the staff at the breakfast buffet, a group of young folk who are polite, friendly, and who hustle steadily without appearing harried. I was also very impressed with the front desk staff, patient, informative, and efficient. I had the pleasure of chatting with Julian, a very urbane gentleman, with a subtle sense of humor. Full disclosure; I’m a retired airline pilot and I’ve traveled quite a bit. This is the first time I’ve ever felt strongly enough about a lodging to write a review. The Palazzo Veneziano is a fabulous place to stay in Venice.…
From the start we had a wonderful stay. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. We booked a junior suite with a canal view, which was a lovely room (we requested a fourth floor room). The hotel was super quiet at night although it was full. The breakfast was great; plenty of fresh food options and Prosecco… what more could you want :) (PS… not a great gluten free selection). Would recommend
I absolutely loved the hotel and the staff. They made my girlfriends birthday really special. I would definitely go again. We stayed in the luxury spa suite. The hotel is walking distance to everywhere you need to go.
I have been busy supervising a new kitchen project on the Giudecca and I felt I needed a little rest and peace and quiet. So I booked into a lovely bedroom on the top floor overlooking San Marco with a nice size terrace and outdoor jacuzzi. Sadly the January weather did not allow me to enjoy it but what a lovely asset! The staff were all charming from reception right through to breakfast staff in the lovely dinning room. I was so happy to have stayed in this hotel amd will definitely recommend it to my friends.
I really don’t know where to start with this stay.. we had such high hopes from the reviews! We arrived late and very tired and we were booked into room 303.. if you are booked into this room, complain immediately! It’s basically sandwiched between a staff room and a staff locker room. It has no windows or natural light and is the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in. Loud noise all night, chatting and knocking constantly. We were shown another room above the bar which we were told would cost more and was clearly just as loud, they made us feel very uncomfortable. They did move is in the morning but this required packing again and the next room wasn’t much of an improvement and unfortunately we were so exhausted we missed our second day in Venice as we were too tired to go anywhere. Staff were polite but the barmaid on our first night was clearly drunker than anyone which became uncomfortable and we had to leave. Food wasn’t great, sprouts with breakfast, eggs not quite cooked.. all very unprofessional for a hotel that claims to be 4+ We had an awful trip to Venice because of this hotel. Our trip had been cancelled several times due to covid so I was so excited but they totally ruined it. People should not have to pay loads of money to listen to staff all night and certainly shouldn’t have to deal with drunk staff. I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to anyone. We were almost made to feel like we were annoying because we were complaining when truly we shouldn’t have to be put in that situation in the first place and we were under the circumstances very polite about it. I really hate complaining and even more leaving bad reviews but this hotel really deserves it. You’ve totally ruined my weekend away and sadly our Venice experience.…
We had a great stay here. Beautiful, romantic hotel. Nice little touches and nice and clean. Staff friendly and gave great recommendations. Very helpful. Nice buffet breakfast with a good selection of food
Spent 3 nights this week at this lovely hotel for my wife's significant Birthday. Room, staff and facilities are excellent with a great buffet breakfast. The hotel is located on the edge of the more touristy areas, with authentic restaurants and bars. A great place and would definitely recommend.
The Palazzo Veneziano is an amazing hotel with unbelievable service. We were here for 3 nights and will cater to any request and provide you with the best food recommendations. I would highly recommended this hotel to anyone and I look forward to my return stay in the future.
We stayed in the 2 floor family suite. It was FABULOUS. The kids absolutely loved having their own space (complete with a bathroom - the parents also loved that they had one. LOL). This particular suite's view (a quiet courtyard) was lovely but in hindsight, it would have been nice to have had a canal view while in Venice. The breakfast was delicious and selection was plentiful. The location was great - walked all over. But also steps from the boat stops if preferred. We didn't have any questions/requests of the front staff but they seemed perfectly professional. Overall, a real gem.
