Stayed in here recently with my friend. Ca' Bella is a charming B&B, with beautiful glass chandeliers in each room (likely from Murano). It is well decorated and Krystyna is very friendly and extremely helpful. Get her opinion on where to get some fish soup - you wont regret it. Breakfast is wonderful, good assortment of food. The place is...

Ca*Bella is an absolute gem if you want to stay in a quiet area of Venice called Cannaregio. There are only 3 rooms at this B&B . We stayed at the green room facing a quiet street for 3 nights and could not been happier with our stay, as Krystyna ( the owner) made us feel very welcome and gave...

Our stay at Ca' Bella was a delight from start to finish, the owner couldn't have been any more friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome. We were lucky enough to have the canal facing room, which meant we had the pleasure of opening the windows out and seeing a small but no less beautiful Venetian canal each...

Me and my wife visited ca bella for her 30th birthday. Krystyna was great from the moment we booked she contacted me and gave me all the relevant information I needed. (Times/ directions etc) The b&b was very clean and relaxed. Rooms were typical Venetian style and perfect for what he needed. There is also a safe and mini bar...

We very much enjoyed our stay! Venice was very crowded, so being a few minutes extra walk away from the main attractions was wonderful. The innkeeper, Krystyna was very welcoming and helpful. We would stay there again.

Ca'Bella is a really beautiful place to stay in a traditional Venetian style. Our room was nicely decorated and very clean, when you wake up you see a charming street through the window and you can have your breackfast in a small but cosy yard. It feels like home not like a hotel room. The house is close to the...

I was there this June and I can say the place is clean and the two ladies that take care of the place are very nice and helpful. The breakfast was included, but the 2 days we stayed the breakfast was only bread and croissant with cream cheese or butter, I was expecting maybe ham and cheese or fruits. If...

Great host who was friendly and efficient. The room was average size and perfectly appointed. Lovely and clean with a/c, shutters and a little well stocked mini bar. I can't comment on breakfast as only went "bed". Directions from the water bus were easy and St Marks Sq was 15 mins away. Definitely recommend it as a place to stay...

Staying in Cannaregio

Neighbourhood Profile
Cannaregio
Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district) with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution, 2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby shops on the Lista di Spagna offer specialties like pastries and coffee that lure Venetians with a down-to-earth attitude. The Ghetto, where the Jewish population was segregated in Cannaregio, has five historic synagogues with an active Jewish community. The Fondamente Nove bustles with foot traffic to the Rialto and San Marco while vaporettos (water taxis) head to Murano and other islands. Side streets lead into quiet picturesque neighbourhoods and palaces like Ca' d'Oro rise directly out of the water.

Ca' Bella is a family-run Bed & Breakfast, a colorful Venetian home, hugged by a quiet canal on one side, and an ample but intimate walkway on the other. It has a cozy private courtyard, inviting to relax, have breakfast or a drink. Our three comfortable rooms are painted in lively colours like the houses of Burano island, but also recall the luxurious 18th century Venetian style. To ensure you a relaxing stay, each room has a private bathroom with shower, independent air condition and heating, traditional Venetian floors and furniture, wooden beam ceilings, two windows, floral glass chandeliers from Murano, free Wifi, TV, mini-bar and safebox. ... more   less
