We were welcomed into the historical home of a wonderful Venetian family. Though it is now a hotel, we were made to feel special and that the staff was happy to see us. A welcome drink overlooking the Grand Canal, a brief tour of the dining and breakfast rooms on the "Nobility Floor". Beautiful antiques and priceless artwork adorn the...

Staying in Palazzetto Pisani is an experience you should live as you are being transferred to the past, the Venetian Epoque. La Suitte Pisani is exceptional . FUlly decorated with antique articles and objects. The view to tha Canal Grande is fantastic. You can hear the wate on the windows. The breakfast is nice in the beautiful Salla . Alessandro...

The dining room and lounge overlooking the waterway is breath taking, sitting there transports you into a romantic era far bygone. The beauty of these two rooms are sufficient to to earn the hotel it's 5 stars, yet this 'little palace' has many more charms it unfolds upon its guests. By far the more spectacular Boutique Hotel in Venice, small,...

My husband and I recently visited Italy on our honeymoon, and out of the two weeks we ventured around the country, this is by far one of my favorite hotels we stayed! The hotel itself is gorgeous and was built by the Doge in the 1600s as one of his palaces, and it has stayed in excellent condition since. Because...

I have sought the perfect hotel in Venice for many years and the Palazetto Pisani fulfills that role for me. It is both elegant and stylish but also charming and intimate. There are just 8 hotel rooms and several apartments in a neighboring building are also managed by the hotel. The public rooms are on the Piano Nobile and are...

I stayed in Palazzetto Pisani boutique hotel with my husband and it was a dream. The staff welcomes you with a glass of good prosecco, served in the noble floor of the Palace, where you can enjoy a fantastic view of the Grand Canal. Breakfast is really an experience, you will find all you desire. The room was big and...

What a place!! First time in my life I lived an experience like the one I lived in this beautiful boutique hotel, an historical palazzo of a venetian countess, one of the last descent of the Doge Pisani family. The staff was nice and efficient. All the lagguages are mived by Fernando, the porter. I really suggest this place also...

Palazzetto Pisani is the best boutique hotel in Venice. Great location, fabulous rooms and with an impeccable service. I would definitely recommend this boutique hotel and I am already looking forward to my next trip to Venice.

I arrived at the Palazzetto Pisani by taxi boat and I really suggest to everyone this experience.. No where else you arrive at your hotel through the water! We booked 3 rooms and all those were different style, original of the time (17th century) and with a unique atmosphere that only here you can have a feeling like this, to...

We were fortunate enough to have an evening meal at this amazing hotel as part of a rail package tour. We accessed the hotel by water taxi and were greeted by staff letting down a small draw bridge to enter the building. The interior is immediately breath taking as you climb the stone stairs aided by a red cord bannister...

Staying in San Marco

Neighbourhood Profile
San Marco
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
