loved everything about it, after a week of disappointment with our previous accomodation walking into this hotel was like walking into a dream. I highly recommend this place, friendly staff, beautiful rooms, close to st marks square. Well worth the money.
This pristine and charming apartment transcended our expectations! As a hygiene fanatic, even I was impressed by the superior cleanliness and meticulous condition of our suite! The gold furnishings and spacious interior only added to its comfort and charm! We also loved the peace and...More
These apartments are located in a good part of the city, about 10 mins walk to Piazza San Marco.
They are clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful, organising a taxi for us and providing guidance with sightseeing.

Castello is the largest of the six sestieri (districts), and the only one not facing onto the Grand Canal. More than half of Castello is situated within Arsenale, the naval base, which occupies over one-fifth the area of Venice. This gentrified maritime neighbourhood feels busy but casual. Castello’s side streets are laid back, with small boats lining canals criss-crossed by laundry. Semiannual exhibitions add a
strong artsy current to the Arsenale area. Via Garibaldi in Castello, with its shops and bars, has one of Venice's rare straight and wide boulevards. When a large ship turns around the Lido to enter the Giudecca Canal, the startling sight creates an illusion that it will run aground right on Via Garibaldi! Families treasure Giardini near the island's tip, green with rare trees and grass, and Riva degli Schiavoni is a popular spot for Venetians to take a stroll to watch the sunset.

On the "how easy to get to from the airport" >> If you are willing to take a water taxi (around 60 euro I think - and the hotel will arrange it for you if you like) - it could not be simpler. Taxi will pick you up at the airport and drop you directly in front of the hotel. For us - with all of our luggage - and after a long trip, it was a luxury that was WELL worth the price.
