The hotel is a short walk from St Marks Square, a family run hotel which I found to be delightful. I had a large airy room with a patio to sit out.
I was late for my check in so rang the hotel who put...More
My husband and I were just there last week and spent three nights at this amazing hotel. Our room was beautiful and big, I guess it was a suite. We loved the bar in the hotel and we had an amazing dinner at the hotel...More
I booked the hotel on a recommendation from a friend who had stayed here. It is located close to St Marks Square 5minute walk. The Hotel has lots of character, rooms have really high ceilings and are well decorated, clean and well maintained. The service...More
This hotel is nicely centered near the museums, main tourist sites and transport. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was large and comfortable. The buffet-breakfast served a wide range of fruits, pastries and savory foods, in an outside terrace when the weather is...More
The mark of an outstanding hotel is not necessarily in the quality of the amnesties but the way in which they react to feedback. We were a little disappointed in the size of our room. We never complain but on this occasion we thought we...More

The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and
Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.

They are on he canal and you can get a water taxi but those are very expensive. They are located less than five minutes from the first San Marco vaporetto station (there are two) and you will have only one bridge to cross so depending on the amount of luggage that you have you might want to hire one of the porters that hang around the vaporetto station. So from the San Marco station you would walk straight and turn left. After you cross the bridge, the hotel will be about 100 feet to your right. This would cost you about €7 with a vaporetto ticket if you don't have a day pass which is well worth it. Enjoy your stay in the city.
