We stayed in the hotel for one night during our short visit to Venice. That was a great choice as its location was execellent, just a few meters from the amazing San Marco Plazza. From the balcony of the hotel we could see the Gondolas...More
Arrived and had speedy check in. The desk clerk had an I am too good to be here attitude. Had room 301 which had a patio included sadly the cushions from the chairs disappeared on day 2 never to be seen again. Had to ask...More
Hidden within 5 minutes walk from the Markus Square in Venice, next to a Gondola station and a million different restaurants and shops within walking distance we (4 adults - 1 child) spend 2 nights and wake up to the most delicate breakfast every morning....More
Great location. Short walk through a luxury shopping district to get to the Piazza San Marco. Also close to the Ponte Rialto. The room was small, clean, beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed. The breakfast was the best we had during our 2 week stay...More

The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and
Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
