The hotel is extremely basic - virtually no facilities. Small room (although we had a balcony that over looked one of the canals - bonus) the shower is small and reception speaks hardly any English but they are friendly.
The location is brilliant - everything...More
Very good localization. Room was clean; we have hair dryer; warm blankets; TV. Staff was very friendly !! a big plus because of 24h check-in. In the morning You can also have paid breakfast, which was very comfortable option.
Booked for 2 nights on a very tight itinerary and was so surprised to receive this message from the hotel. Why shouldn’t they mention this in their ads in the first place? Terrible! They could have saved our time coz now we have to reorganize...More
Checked out of the hotel yesterday 24/05/18 and it is like a construction site. Hardly slept due to banging/drilling starting very early each morning. Our balcony opened up into scaffolding, therefore we got no natural light. One morning, a builder opened our shutters and balcony...More

Italy > Veneto > Province of Venice > City of Venice > Venice > Castello
Castello is the largest of the six sestieri (districts), and the only one not facing onto the Grand Canal. More than half of Castello is situated within Arsenale, the naval base, which occupies over one-fifth the area of Venice. This gentrified maritime neighbourhood feels busy but casual. Castello’s side streets are laid back, with small boats lining canals criss-crossed by laundry. Semiannual exhibitions add a
strong artsy current to the Arsenale area. Via Garibaldi in Castello, with its shops and bars, has one of Venice's rare straight and wide boulevards. When a large ship turns around the Lido to enter the Giudecca Canal, the startling sight creates an illusion that it will run aground right on Via Garibaldi! Families treasure Giardini near the island's tip, green with rare trees and grass, and Riva degli Schiavoni is a popular spot for Venetians to take a stroll to watch the sunset.
No, not all the rooms have a canal view. Ours was a triple room and didn't have a cute but did have a window overlooking the entrance. You can request a canal view and they should answer you but it depends on who is on duty... More
No, not all the rooms have a canal view. Ours was a triple room and didn't have a cute but did have a window overlooking the entrance. You can request a canal view and they should answer you but it depends on who is on duty. If it's the owner he is not particularly helpful but the other receptionists are nice so keep trying. Good luck.

From the Airport by bus to Piazza Roma, from there you can take the public ferry (Vaporetto), get off at Canal Grande stop, from there it's 5 min walking, the owner will send you a map very precise for reaching his place
