Initially we were given room no. 6 which disappointed us. However the very helpful lady on reception sorted us out and our new room didn't dissapoint. Location is excellent and near stop for boat airport transfer. The view from room was amazing and would be difficult to beat.

A lovely stay! Hotel was easy to find. Walked from train station taking 20 mins. Upon arrival greeted by kind and friendly staff. Hotel is just off the grand canal a little disappointed that the windows were quite high and the view was not easy to enjoy thought there would be Juliet balconies instead had to climb on a chair....

We booked 2 nights in a room with a canal view more in hope of a nice view than real expectation, given our experience of Venice and the price was little more than small standard rooms elsewhere in the city. We were therefore delighted to see our huge room with superb views over the Grand Canal through 2 large French...

Our first trip to Venice and we had certain priorities on our shopping list. Firstly, we wanted to be on the Grand Canal with good views and we wanted to be central to all of the places we wanted to visit. On the converse side, we were not interested in a spa or gym as I had no intention of...

Mixed experience as the hotel room was very nice, looking over the grand canal, which was great, the staff are also friendly. However each night there we found it a little noisy, either from other guests or what seemed like workmen as the place is still being renovated. This was a little disappointing for the price.

We have stayed at Leon Bianco for nine different trips to Venice. In snow & rain, and even mosquitos, this has been our only place to stay in Venice. Why? Because of the location, the view from room #4, and the staff makes us feel like being in a guest in their home. The noise, the smells, the ancient feel,...

After months of searching for our hotel in Venice, we decided on Locanda Bianco as it seemed to offer the best all round value for money. Well, I am currently sat in room 2 with a beer, overlooking the gondolas and water taxis, which dominate the grande canal in a British 4* style room... The staff couldn't be more accommodating...

I made reservations here because my sister had stayed here and could not stop talking about her experience. But that was 2 years ago and things change. Our room was small, plain, and not particularly clean. I had paid $200 with city tax(there was a 2% discount because I was willing to pay cash). When you walk in downstairs there...
