Stayed in a basic room...no view, but we were impressed with the size and classic Venetian decor. Small tables out front on the canal are perfect for coffee in the morning and wine in the evening...no bugs in April. Service was very good. Great location...enjoyed the breakfast. Wifi is extra here, but you get what you pay for....connections were flawless....

At the end of a two-week trip to Italy, we traveled to Venice. We were tired from our travels, hot from the train ride, and wishing we were headed back home instead of to another city. And then we arrived in Venice, and took a water taxi to the Palazzo Sant'Angelo sul Canal Grande, and decided we wouldn't have missed...

Most of the staff at this boutique hotel were lovely, from the cleaners to the receptionists. Our room had a side view of a canal (although not the Grand Canal), although the room was sizeable, and the bed was super super large. The room was so lovely that I didn't mind overly much staying in there bed bound for almost...

In March, we spent such an amazing night in this magnificent hotel overlooking the Grand Canal that we immediately booked a room for my cousin and her husband for a night the following week. What more can I say? The welcome is genuinely warm and efficient, the decoration chic and elegant, the bathrooms renovated with beautiful marble, and definitely, ask...

We arrived by water taxi from the airport and were driven down the side canals then under the Rialto Bridge to the private pier of Palazzo Sant'Angelo. Beautiful hotel, very dramatic decour. Our bathroom was almost as big as the bedroom! The reception staff were very happy and helpful as were the breakfast staff. The location was fabulous, right on...

We reserved a suite with Grand Canal view and so glad we did. Our room had an incredible view of the Rialto Bridge to our right and beautiful old buildings all around. Despite the activity nearby, the room was mostly soundproof. The room and marble bathroom felt luxurious and the staff was very friendly and spoke good English. The only...

First of all let me preface this review by saying that I'm a bit particular when it comes to hotels. I was particularly worried about hotels in Venice. I had heard that hotel rooms are very small, tend to be dark and sometimes smell musty because of the canal. This was not the case with Palazzo Sant'Angelo. I had a...

The first great thing about this hotel is it's location. If you've stayed in Venice you know that finding your hotel can be a real challenge. This one is located just to the right of the water ferry stop that has the same name - Sant' Angelo. We had a very large, gorgeous room with two small balconies overlooking the...

I can not say enough good things about this hotel. It is spacious and conveniently located near the San Angelo water bus stop. The staff is very helpful and went out of their way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The interior is gorgeous and well maintained and the breakfast is delicious. From the hotel you can walk to...
