We simply adored Novecento Hotel and it was one of the reasons we had an unforgettable stay in Venice beginning of April 2014. What is not to like? If you arrive by taxi boat you ll be dropped of only 50 metres from the entrance...More
This has got to be the best hotel we've stayed at ever! The location is perfect and to arrive by water boat is amazing. The staff couldn't do enough for you and the honesty bar and cosy sitting area are perfect for relaxing. We had...More
I really cannot recommend this B&B enough. Considering it was so well located, it was such a peaceful and tranquil B&B. The unique and eclectic decoration was intriguing, inviting and comfortable. The breakfast/bar area was well laid out and spotlessly clean, it was warm when...More
What a find! We have travelled around Europe for the past month and the Novecento was our favourite accommodation.
The location was fantastic, easily accessible and an easy walk to everything including multiple docks.
The staff could not have been more lovely and accommodating.

The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and
Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.

It is close enough to the train station and very close to the main sites. Our stepson is staying there in December for one night I think because we recommend it as central. Novice to is about five to 10 minutes from the Rialto, St Marks Square etc. Remember to use the vaporettos as much as possible - it makes all the difference. And enjoy
